This is a rarely found object as part of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Argenta series produced for Gustavsberg. It measures 1 5/8" tall and is 1 7/8" in diameter. On the underside is painted in silver Argenta, the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Gustavsberg, 958. Impressed is the letter S. Excellent condition. There is crazing, which is normal for the glaze.

Vintage Japanese Komai metal obidome (sash ornament) with gold and silver decoration of bamboo stem and leaves. Obidome is worn on an obi cord that holds the obi sash together, it is the only type of jewelry worn by Japanese women on formal occasions, and could serve as netsuke as well. Nice design, great quality crisp metalwork, two fittings for a cord on the back, a few scratches to the front. Stamped AMITA SILVER on the back. Length 1.18 inches.

This is a silk meisen haori ( jacket ). Meisen textile is a kind of pongee silk which is machine woven and has kasuri ( ikat ) pattern. Japanese round wood Hibachi with Copper Lining, carved out of whole width of tree, 9 1/2" diameter for top rim, 8 1/2" high, thin crack on one(1) side.

Japanese white solid Porcelain Pestle, heavy weight, 9 1/2" long, 2 1/2" diameter-widest part, with glazed solid white porcelain except tip of round grinding area which is unglazed. This Cambridge Portia pair of double-light candlesticks are gold etched and quite elegantly beautiful... and a bit rare. The swirling crystal clear keyhole holds the gold rimmed candlesticks. The foot is broad covered in the gold etch of baskets of flowers and trailing leaves and flowers that is in perfect condition. The foot is also trimmed in gold ... though there is some very minor gold rub here...

Japanese glass ojime in a form of tombodama bead of dark blue glass with flower shaped swirls of tan and white. Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Very well made, in perfect condition. Height 9/16 inches.

A three piece carving set with stag horn handles. The blade has light wear and is marked accordingly. The red shagreen box's satin insert has some brown staining.

This is a really nice 4 inch high depression glass cobalt blue Sailboat, aka Ships, Ice Pail or Ice Tub made by Hazel Atlas Glass. This Ice Pail measures 4 3/8 inches in diameter across the top. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The white ships decoration is slightly discolored which is common in this decoration pattern. There are a few cleaners some use on the Ships, but we strive to leave items as we originally find them...

This tortoise ashbowl measures 7 1/4" in diameter and 2" high.

Due to the polularity of the tortoise figurines, Wade decided to introduce an ashtray, or ashbowl, utilizing the figurines as decoration to add interest to the bowls. The bowl is in the Scintillite finish.

This pretty, vintage, blue Madrid depression glass oval vegetable or serving bowl was made by Federal Glass from 1932 to 1938. This bowl measures 10 inches long X 6 7/8 inches across. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, however, there is a slight 1/2 inch minor indent at one spot on the inner rim of the bowl that was done in the making. This 5 3/4" souvenir spoon of Denver, Colorado depicts the State Capitol , one mile high, in the bowl. On the front handle there is the Brown Palace Hotel, U.S.Mint and the smelter. On the back handle there is General J. W. Denver, Indian camp, First log cabin in 1859 and panning for gold in Cherry Creek.

These are the small rose "desert rose" salt and pepper shakers with English plugs.
