Ifugao tribal wooden spoon from the Cordillera region of Luzon in the Philippines. Obtained in the 1980's. Eight (8) inches in length.

Antique Chinese hand painted in famille verte enamels; a water pot for the scholar's desk . Low square form with feet to each corner. Depicts scenes of wise men with attendants, birds and flowers on the top and all sides . Base unglazed. No marks.

Age: Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period (1662 - 1722)

Condition: Very good condition, no breaks or cracks. Some slight wear to the enamels...

Condition: Very good condition. The top of the crown on one of the birds broke off and has been re-glued back on. And on the other bird, the bottom part of the beak has broken off.

The domed cover with a knop finial. Glazed white on the inside. The base glazed white with a six character under-glaze blue Kangxi mark surrounded by double blue circles. Original lid.
