A convincing replica of a shell by the master Alfredo Barbini in crystal and pink lattimo, with a soft veil of gold dust on both interior and exterior. A vintage sterling silver figural jigger by Gorham, the sides marked off with enameled stoplights in green, yellow and red. Each light corresponds to the 1, 2-1/2 and 3-1/2 ounce markings on the jigger’s bottom. The bottom is also hallmarked by Gorham.

A superb example of modern glass design by Anzolo Fuga for AVEM. A very similar vessel is documented in Rosa Barovier Menstasi's book, ANZOLO FUGA, in the"Multicolor Rods and Murrine" section, page 61. A nice sterling silver double jigger with a turned ebony handle. The jigger has a smaller and a larger cup, each in bell form. The jigger is marked by Edward San Giovanni, who worked in Ridgefield, CT during the 1940s and 50s.

This is a wonderful vintage Japanese Raku style tea cup of Ohi ware, which was made about 50-60 years ago. The seal of 'Ohi' is stamped on the bottom. This tea cup has an amazing amber glaze.

Ohi ware has become well known for its use of Ame-gusuri, or amber glaze. Being a Raku style, it was low-fired and is quite light and soft in the hands...

Superb and very tall lamp by Ercole Barovier. It is in great condition! The hardware has an attractive patina commensurate with its age. The lamp is nicely complemented by the vase and bowl of the previous listings. Lamp measures 28" to the top of the glass and 44" to the top of the finial.

Fratelli Toso Rose Bowl constructed of Cattedrale (or Tiffany Window) murrines in reds, greens, yellows and blue. Raised, undulating ridges on a field of cobalt blue highlighted with white slip and bronze flecks around the rim, this piece conjures images of the deep and stormy sea or possibly of the vast swirling cosmos...

Sumptuous sculpted sommerso bowl in ever so soft hues of teal and amber glass. My guess is that this is a Flavio Poli design due to the purity of form and soft hues of color. Obviously inspired by the nature of the Venetian Lagoon, this piece resembles a birds eye view of the island of Murano and its surrounding Lagoon. The base of the bowl was protected over the years by three felt pads added to the bottom, so the piece is in great condition. It measures 9.5"w x 3"h, unmarked.

This miniature Japanese Satsuma vase is around 50 years old. It is 2 ½” high and 1 ½” at its widest part. It depicts a lake scene. Maple trees, iris and peonies are in front of the lake. A three story pagoda is back behind the lake. There is a painted Satsuma logo on the bottom. Aside from a small chip on the rim, it is in great condition.

Very nice set of eight sterling silver cocktail picks with rooster finials brightly decorated in translucent basse-taille enamels. The engraved decoration underneath the enamel lends realistic feathery details to the roosters. The exposed areas of silver are gilt. The backs are marked "925S Norway Sterling."

Mid-Century Mexican silver six-candle candelabra. Unique design and high-quality construction. Excellently hand wrought and very rare. It measures approximately 20.5" long and 9" tall. Each candle holder portion measures 2.75" in diameter, and the base is 6" in diameter. The base is marked "ORTEGA" "925". It has also an Eagle 8 mark and a serial number of "39637". It is in impeccable condition and weighs approximately 4.6 lbs.

Massive Vintage Japanese Shigaraki Ware Tsukubai Jar made 70-80 years ago. Shigaraki ware belongs to one of the Six Old Kilns in Japan and originates from Koga town in Shiga Prefecture.
Among the unique features of Shigaraki pottery there are colour shades and patterns of red, brown and pink obtained by the firing due to the fire-resistant coarse soil as well as the dark tones of burnt by natural glaze. This rusty glaze on the scorched portions of Shigaraki ware is highly appreciated.
