Lovely figurine of a little boy holding a blue onion cup with his toy horse at his feet. Signed with the Meissen crossed swords, the figurine measures 6 3/8" tall and is in perfect condition.

Chinese ornately carved wall hanging, highly raised and detailed pierced carving of pair of phoenixes with blossoming peonies, other small birds on rocks and branches, round form, minor repairs, early 20th century. Size: 25" wide diameter x 5 1/4" deep.
Up for auction is an unique antique Chinese pagoda made out of silver, celadon jade, enamel, and turquoise germ stones. The curved roof is supported by the cylindrical jade, 6 coated pillars and hexagonal sliver base.
The pagoda is in excellent condition, good workmanship, no cracks in the cylindrical jade.

Long armed shrimp, a symbol in any culture of a festive meal, decorate in red the shunkei lacquered surfaces of these turned bamboo basins called Haisen made for washing sake cups between drinks. Each bowl is turned from a bamboo node, celebrating the natural basin formed by the bamboo tree and used from time immemorial in Asia. They are 13 cm (5 inches) diameter, 9 cm (3-1/2 inches) tall and in excellent condition, enclosed in the original kiri-wood box signed Shunko.

This image is illustrated on page 66 (plate 88) of “The Prints of Paul Jacoulet” by Richard Miles, 1982. It is described on page 108. Kashigata (wooden sweet mold) with double Kiku (chrysanthemum) motif, early 20th C., Japan. L.8.75"(22.5cm) x W.4.25"(10.5cm) x H.1.75"(4.5cm.) This mold has two chrysanthemum blossoms, a symbol of beauty and abundance in late fall and winter. On the side, the sweetmaker has written "an iri no natsume" (sweet red bean paste filled jujube) to indicate for which of type of sweet this mold was used...

This shoulder bag was made and used by the Hmoung women of northern Thailand. It would carry all the traditional items which would have been commonly found in a woman's purse. The bag fabric was hand loomed from the indigenous plants and then embroidered using traditional cross-stitched with geometric patterns. Serene low fire glazed Chinese Garden Stand. Has a cylindrical round shape, with green, blue, cream, and yellow glazed colors. Shaped in three tiers. Top tier is circular, with cream cut out design in middle. Bottom two tiers are hexagonal shape. Cream and Blue cutouts of vine and floral designs grace this tranquil piece.
