A vintage lady's Benrus wristwatch in 14k white gold c1950s-1960. This 11/16" across watch has a Speidel expansion band with white gold plating. It is stamped 14K GOLD on the back, the works are stamped TWENTY-ONE 21 JEWELS UNADJUSTED SWISS BENRUS WATCH Co INC MODEL DZ 401. This is the top part of a longuer pole fixed on bridge for protection of travellers. Although the carving is rought one can distinguish the minimal face either of a local deityor or also possible of the Sun. Age is circa mid 20th as it is already in my collection since 1992, good condition it is based on an old piece of wood which can be removed. H 40 cm,

An emerald green and silver bubbles bowl, 1950’s, unsigned, probably Italian (Murano). Width "6 / 15 cm, height "2 ¼ / 5.5 cm. Condition: one bubble larger than the others can be felt just under the lip, otherwise fine.

Midcentury Modern sterling silver centerpiece bowl. Made by Alphonse La Paglia (d. 1953) in New Jersey. Deep and tapering with flared rim. Raised foot with short support in the bead and ring arrangement that proved influential with other American silversmiths. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 116. Very good condition.

This cleverly named product came in a diminutive tube measuring 3.5 inches long with its carton a mere 4 inches long. Supposedly, by following directions and using "at the right time", this ointment would measure up to its full potential.

Dates to the 1950's - 1960's era and is in very good condition.

From our African Collection: A Senufo Door from the 1960's. 20 x 48" Among the northern Senufo peoples, doors carved in low relief were signs of wealth and social status. In earlier times they were taken as booty in wars between villages. The designs most often refer to divination, bush spirits and sources of power. The central design is adapted from the scarification around a woman's navel, which symbolizes the order of the universe as set out by the Creator...

Offered is this beautiful, large, Galle-type, French cameo glass vase, depicting a scenery. The vase is 11 3/4 inches (30 cm) tall and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) wide. It is in good condition and has a broken pontil. It is signed in cameo (see last picture), though it is hard to decipher the signature.
