A lovely Christmas bouquet paperweight by Perthshire. The weight features a colorful bouquet of holly leaves, a red poinsettia and mistletoe surrounded by ring of red, white and green complex canes, all against an opaque snow white ground. The base is embedded with a signature/date cane. The paperweight is finished with 5/1 faceting.

This really pretty Green Slag Glass Paneled Grape Small Canister with Lid was made by Westmoreland Glass. This Canister bottom measures 5 inches high X 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the top of the canister. It measures 7 1/4 inches to top of knob with the lid on. The bottom is signed WG. Both the Canister bottom and lid are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. This is a beautiful, hard to find, piece of Westmoreland Glass. Tall boxwood netsuke of 8 quails feeding on millet. Perfectly captured mood of the scene, extraordinary carving to the last detail, eyes are double inlaid with horn and mother of pearl, beautiful finish, in superb condition. Signed AKIHIDE on the bottom - this brilliant contemporary artist (born 1934) belonged to the So School lineage. Height 4.1 inches (104 mm).

Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Superbly made piece, in perfect condition. Diameter 0.78 inches.

Fairly large sake bottle of dark brown stoneware, with an angular hip, rounded shoulder and slightly everting neck. Its shoulder and neck covered in a yellow and greenish natural ash glaze.

A finely sculpted bust of a young man with exceptional patina of finely blended earth and bronze pigments. Physical condition is superb, but a small amount of finish has worn around the left eye and on the top of the head exposing a green substrate, yet harmonious with the earthen finish. Signed on the back of the neck. We have been unable to decipher the signature; yet the work speaks well for the unidentified artist. Dimension: 13" h

German heavy gray color stoneware Stein, or Tankard, 8" high, 3 1/4" diameter-top rim and 4 1/2" diameter-bottom diameter, with molded design of two(2) men drinking beer beside the dog and two(2) smiling women passing by them, in dark blue background. Impressed mark "Germany" and number "2" on the bottom. The condition is good, no damage.

Japanese pottery tsubo vase. An earthy, drab gray-green glaze on porcelaneous body with thin iron wash and with bold, rich red iron oxide glaze painted floral decoration on opposing sides of the tsubo form with thickly potted shoulder rising to a broad, everted rim. Two character impressed artist's mark inside the foot appears to read Kazan ('Ka' being the 10 stroke character also read as "hana".) A pleasant, substantial feel when held. Excellent condition. Height, 9 3/4 inches (24.76 cm)

Gold leaf on carved wood Corinthian style Wall Bracket or Shelf, heavy weight, 13 1/2" high, 18 1/2" wide and 9" deep corner to corner for maximum measurement and 9" deep point to point maximum, and 5 3/4" deep in the narrow center area for maximum. The condition is good, some small gold leaf pieces are off.

Classic vase by Mashiko artist Murata Gen (Japan, born in Ishikawa Prefecture, 1904-1988). Murata Gen apprenticed with Shoji Hamada before becoming an independent potter in 1954. This work is 8 1/2" high and 6 1/2" wide. Signed with the "MU" character within a diamond. In excellent condition.
