Japanese scroll painted with ink and colors on paper depicting the Rokkasen (Six Famous Poets of Japan that lived in 9-10th century) seated on the ground in different attitudes. Wonderful Zen quality to the brushwork, great composition, beautiful use of color. Brocade silk mounts, lacquered wood scroll ends. Inscribed with a short poem, signed KEIZAN, and marked with red paste seal and another seal lower on the painting. Scroll size 60x15 inches, painting size 26.5x10.5 inches.

German Rosenthal Porcelain Serving Bowl with 2 handles, 9" x 10" wide, 2 1/8" high, with large hand painted gold floral decoration in the center in the cobalt blue background, and fluted rim is also decorated in brilliant gold. Underglaze green mark "Rosenthal, Selb-Germany, Pompadour" on the bottom, the condition is very good, specially gold finish.

Save 10% today... This very pretty Fostoria candlestick shows the acid etched June pattern (#5098) of flowing ribbon bows and flowers. The candle holder has a 6 sided waist that flares to the rim. The foot is 4 3/4" across and it stands 3 3/8"" tall. It is in excellent, unused condition. The June pattern was made in several colors, but it is quite rare to find a piece that is crystal clear. A weaving pulley in the shape of a woman with pinned-up coiffure ending in two horns. Carved from hardwood with dark patina, the reel is worked from a nut or another material. Collected by the Swiss ethnologist Charlotte von Graffenried, author of the book "Akan Goldweights". Condition: traces of usage, the body and one horn with a split. Dimension: c. 15.5 cm high x 7.4 cm wide.

This lovely Heisey Orchid wine stem is in excellent, undamaged condition. The bowl is surrounded by an acid etch motif of upside-down orchids and big sprays of ribbons and bows. The Tyrolean stem is quite bright and elegant all attached to a clear broad foot. It stands 6 1/8" tall, and I have one more in my inventory. This headdress would have been worn by a young Pashtun woman. It is heavily beaded and decorated with wonderful embroidery, and various buttons and coins. The Pashtun range across Afghanistan, Pakistan and Northern India. This hat was sourced in India but it may not have started there.

The head dress hat is 25 inches long and is in excellent condition.

This is a really nice Cobalt blue, with Windmill decoration, Ice Pail with Rim made by Hazel Atlas. The Ice Pail measures 4 inches high X 4 1/2 inches in diameter across the top. This ritual plaque is from Himachal Praddesh ( North West India). The local name is 'Mohra'. These plaque are usually bronze casted, but copper “repoussz” can also be found. They are depicting Lord Shiva in his Ardhanaresvara form, i.e half woman and half man.
