Sharon is one of the most widely recognized and collected depression glass patterns. Made by Federal Glass from 1935 to 1939, it is popular in pink, green and amber. Beautiful bronze offering chalice from India with one large peacock surrounded by four smaller peacocks, bowing their heads in worship to the central bird. The chalice has a hinge on its front and back, which could secured shut with a pin or rope. The bronze has some red patina on the feathers of each bird and has bronze patina. The peacock is the national bird of India and is also considered a vehicle to the Hindu lord Murugan...

A pretty Art Deco cut glass perfume bottle with an intaglio stopper. The periwinkle blue body is cut in a diamond pattern, while the flat round stopper has lapidary cut edges and an intaglio four-leaf clover. The overall effect is very sweet. The flat base is acid-etched “Made in Czechoslovakia” inside an elongated oval.

Origin: Czechoslovakia, ca. 1920. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 3-3/4” tall.

The master bowl is 9.75" and the 4 small bowls are 6". There are no chips or cracks in the glass. Thanks for looking.

Two charming little elephants and a kangaroo, part of a miniature glass menagerie from the Bimini Werkstätte in Vienna (1923 – 1938). Lampworked, the insides covered by a shimmering mother-of-pearl-like mercury layer. Height "1 ½ - 1 ¾ / 3.5 - 5 cm. Condition: a few flakes to the interior (cf. pics).

The album has a lot of wear, but the photos are in excellent condition. Most of the photos are 8.5 x 6 inches (22 x 15 cm) with several that are 12 x 9.5 inches (30 x 24 cm). Album dimensions: 21 x 16.5 inches (53 x 42 cm).

This ornate pectorial is from the Highlands region of Papua New Guinea and would have been worn by a man during ceremonial occasions. It is made from plant fiber, which was pigment dyed and studded with nassa shells. The piece is accented on either side by a large white cowrie shell.

This wonderful ethnographic artifact was obtained from the estate of an anthropology professor in St. Louis. Having been stored away for many years, the color of the pigment dyes are still relatively strong.
