A very old ghurra with super fine design achievement, Note a standing protector ( H 3.5 cm) on each side of the house on top of the ghurra, the protectors are barely visible as they are deeply encrusted and worn out, exceptional signs of a great use , at least from early 20th, H 24 cm, wide 6 cm, thick 4 cm.

A genuine, vintage hand embroidered and beaded Pashtun tablecloth or tray cover cloth from the early part of the 20th century. These decorative embroidered and beaded textiles were made to show off the skills of young women in contemplation of marriage and this was brought back from Afghanistan in the 1960s. A 4-3/4" tall splint and sweetgrass woven Native American Northeastern embroidery or sewing thread lidded basket c1900-30. This 5" diameter Penobscot or Passamaquoddy basket retains traces of its original green and red colour and the sweetgrass still has a pleasant aroma.
