Shino tea bowl with abstract gourd and ivy design by the representative modern Shino master Yano Keisen (1870-1965). Suitable for Autumn tea ceremony, finely painted ivy gives a beautiful sentiments and the gourds adds warmness onto this Shino bowl.
Fine condition with no chip, no cracks, expected kiln-cracks(kamakizu) are presented as a character of Shino-ware.

This really pretty Forest Green Charm square Cup and Saucer Set was made by Anchor Hocking from the 1940s to the 1960s. The Cup measures 3 5/8" in across. The Saucer measures 5 3/8" in diameter. Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the #712 10 oz goblet in light blue. The color is a ceramic wash applied over crystal and then fired on to fuse it permanently to the surface of the glass. Excellent condition. I have 6 available, price is per tumbler. 19th Century Chinese Hardwood grain measuring Bucket with Brass trim and incised "Kuang Hsu" Emperor's mark on the side, made for celebration event, late 1800's, 5 5/8" high, 9" square-top, 9 1/4" square-bottom, top has brass mounted handle in the center as well as bottom corners. It is heavy weight made out of Rosewood, has two(2) cracks on the bottom.

Futonji with two faces which are made of hand-spun cotton. One is katazome with chrysanthemum motif, dyed with bengala (red iron dioxide) and the other is checks dyed with vegetable indigo. Both sides have mending patches, breaks and holes. The first half of the 20th century. 144cm x 146cm

A lovely pairing of the bodhisattva diety Kwan Yin riding a Chinese lion or fu dog. The Kwan Yin is set in a leisurely pose with her medicine bottle. Intricate geometric patterns with motifs of clouds and dragons are decorated throughout the statue. Age: mid-20th century Size: length 16" width 7.5" height 25.5"

Stunning Yoruba stool from the collection of Ursula Voorhuis (1932-2021), The Netherlands. Supported by 6 figures: a family with a nursing mother, a man with a goat, a maternity and a man with a walking stick. H. 30 cm, diameter 33 cm. First half of the 20th century. Condition: age cracks, repair to the goat, some missing parts. Overall in good condition with a lovely patina and remains of Reckitt Blue pigments.
