Lovely Japanese Hira Taiko Drum, made from a light hardwood, and hung from a Hiratsuri stand. The drum has iron studding to keep its drum skins in place and gold kanji/kana on a black metal strip, with a gold taiko logo for Maru Masa. A drumstick is included which hangs off a hook from the Hiratsuri stand. Makes a lovely drum sound as it is intact and in good condition. German Rosenthal marked Porcelain Charger with handle, serving Platter, 12 1/4" wide include 2 handles, 11 3/4" round, not include 2 handles, 1 1/8" high, beautiful hand painted large floral decoration in brilliant gold in the center in the cobalt blue background and both handles and rim are in gold finish. Underglaze green mark "Rosenthal" "Selb-Germany, Helena" on the bottom. The condition is excellent, specially gold finish.

A heavy pewter jigger in the form of a shotgun shell by Conoy’s of London. The side is marked off in increments, and the head and rim and finished in brass. The side is engraved “Big Shot.” Conoy’s started as a luxury pipe maker and eventually expanded their range to include canes, flasks, and other gentlemen’s accessories.

This is an early 20th Century cloisonne smoking set. Set includes a hinged cigarette or cigar box, an ashtray, and a matchbox holder. Some minor damage, but still considered in good original condition. The cloisonné design is of a boat which is somewhat hard to find.

An interesting Japanese cloisonne hexagonal vase decorated with motifs of chrysanthemums. The cloisonne is done in a technique aka-sukashi, ginbari, where the metal base contains a pattern which is showing through the red cloisonne glaze. Above the metal base is the cloisonne work of chrysanthemum flowers with a bird flying in the distance. On the rim of the foot, two marks can be seen...

Scrambled glass paperweight, millefiori, broken canes, chunks and blurred murrines cased in a light raspberry or amethyst glass (hard to tell but definitely not colorless glass) Measures 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm) wide by 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) tall.
