English Wedgwood Bone China Demitasse Cup and Saucer, with large red Rose, cup-2 1/4" high, 3" wide include handle, saucer-4 3/4" diameter, red rose with sprays of floral design. "Wedgwood Bone China", "Made in England", "Charnwood", "ED3984" marked on the bottom. The condition is good, no damage.

A Pashtun Mangal child's shirt front, circa early or mid 20th century. Silk thread on cotton in a dense satin stitch is worked in horizontal rows, forming geometric patterns of lozenges and chevrons in mostly peach and black thread which cover the entire embroidered surface. The lozenges are accentuated by diagonal lines in brown thread which are worked in Holbein stitch and back stitch, contrasting with the overall magenta color of the dress front...

Coarse cotton fabric painted and printed with two leopards. These cloths were used in Afghanistan for a special hunting technique of partridges. Please refer to the article about these textiles in "Asian Textiles: NEWSLETTER OF THE OXFORD ASIAN TEXTILE GROUP", No. 40. From an old Swiss collection. Condition: very good. A vintage Japanese Isho Tansu (Kimono chest) in 3 section made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood with Kaki (Persimmon) wood accents. All original bronze and other metal hardware. Beautiful lacquer decorative plates adorn the sliding doors with a pair of flying cranes, woven baskets and bamboo trees. Behind the doors lie three small drawers and a split level shelf. The center section and bottom section each have three drawers with spacious storage each...

A rare silverplate cocktail recipe disk by Napier. The silverplate case holds a celluloid dial that can be rotated to show printed recipes for twenty classic cocktails. A jump bail allows the disk to be hung by a chain around a cocktail shaker or decanter. The rim is marked "Napier Pat. Pend." We've never seen this particular Napier design before.

Origin: America, ca. 1935. Condition: very good, very minor plating wear as is typical of Napier pieces. Dimensions: 2" diameter.
