This is a charming pair of rustic candle stand. Of a simplistic geometric design, this is an alter piece with some remain of the wax still sticking to some parts of both the candle stand. The pair is unusual in that it is made of copper rather than bronze or brass. So this could be a pair provincial candle stand. Aldo Londi for Bitossi: a massive stoneware vase, thinly applied glaze to the exterior a rhombic pattern of in orange and yellow with “volcanic” effects, and a glossy glaze to the interior. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of Bitossi, the renowned Italian ceramic company. Marked 3030/537 and Italy. Height "7/ 18 cm. Condition: a few glaze flakes to the mouth rim (cf. pics).

17114428 A scarce gold Favrile underplate for a cordial. The 3 inch diameter plate has a polished pontil and is signed “LCT G1478" by the polished pontil. The rim of the plate exhibits a very nice onion skin pattern. Under plates such as this are shown in a page from the 1902 Tiffany Studios booklet. A copy of this page can be found on page 54 of Robert Koch’s “Louis C. Tiffany’s Glass-Bronzes-Lamps.”

This large carved ivory vessel with handle is a mid 20th century product. It has a dragon shaped handle and nine dragons, clouds and ocean wave motif covering its body. It is 13 ½” high, 10 1/8” wide from the widest part and 4 ½” thick from the middle part. There are two repaired crack lines along the side of the vessel. Because the crack lines are on the side, they are not obvious. There is a honorific Qian Long mark on the bottom.

Small sweet container in the shape of a miniature kaioke, a box for the Japanese shell matching game. The outside engraved with flowers, the inside of the lid with a gilt kamon, maybe a sakura family crest, and an inscription. The base marked jungin (pure silver) and signed.
