Marine material netsuke of an owl sitting on a tree stump with new branches and leaves. Excellent quality detailed carving, wonderful face with somewhat puzzled expression, beautiful depiction of differentiated feathers, pleasant patina, eyes are inlaid with black horn. Signed MASAMITSU on the bottom, wonderful netsuke by a master carver. Height 1 5/8 inches.

Fenton Dusty Rose Thumbprint 8" Bowl is about 3.5" in height. It does not have a logo. Made in the early 1960's (no logo).

Condition: Good condition. One of the herons has the top of his crown broken off and there are small areas of chips and cracks which are normal for this size and age.

21114689 A small Lobmyer tazza or card receiver that stands 2 inches tall with a 4 5/8 inch diameter bowl. The dominant pattern decorating the bowl and foot are fleur de lys. In the center of the bowl is the J & L lobmyer mark. Beautiful condition.

Although this pattern was officially named 'Sylvan' by Federal Glass Company, it has always been referred to by the collector's name, Parrot. Very old mask presumably from the district of Humla, the mouth The ears are barely evoked, there is a small crest possibly fractured, on the top of the mask. Traces of red and white pigments on the top and around the mouth.Black patina ofsoot with hairs fixed around the noos and the eyes/ Semi-hardwood with long fibers, in very good condition considering the age of the mask, at least early 20th. Pair of dramatic sterling silver seafood serving bowls. Made by Buccellati in Italy. Each: Two joined scallop-shells bowls on scallop-shell supports. A traditional form enlivened by the figure of an octopus squatting in the center, its curled and tangled legs draped over the bowls. A graphic contrast between the scales and suckers of the octopus and the controlled and stylized ornament on the shells. Very original...

Old hand stitched Indian 'chakla' textile. Kathipa style embroidered in 'heer' floss silk on old cotton base. Undated, estimated to be early 20th century or earlier. 40 inches square. Good condition few missing mirrors. Can be viewed in central London and shipped worldwide.

A hand-emboidered purse from Pakistan, measuring 19 cm x 21 cm. The embroidery technique is a combination of ladder stitch and satin stitch in silk on a black cotton ground. The purse is framed on all three sides by white glass bead tassels. Estimated age: late 20th century. Condition is excellent.

A large shinto shrine constructed in the style based on the Grand Shrine of Ise. This type of construction for small shrines is often used by the local residents in Ise. The shrine contains fine details in the woodwork and brass fittings fit for a deity. Age: 20th century. Size: height 23.75" width 19" length 36"
