Lovely antique silk Chinese panel embroidered with metallic wires framing flowers and butterflies in jewel tones of purple, blue, raspberry, and gold, natural linen backing, black silk border, easily opens to make a pillow if desired. Size: 12 1/4" x 8 1/4". Condition is good overall. Loose metallic wires, border seams need re-stitching, some loose embroidery threads.

The optic melon body shows deep swelling panels that swirl and shine through the neck to the deeply ruffled rim. It has a faint Fenton imprint on the bottom. This is a small round Continental silver repousse Vinagrette box made in Italy, circa 1925, the lid having a pictorial scene with a man playing the cello to an audience surrounded by a scroll border, the sides with swags and garlands, gilt wash inside, marks worn but decipherable, fleur de lys Makers Mark, MADE IN ITALY, COPPINI, 800; Measures 1 5/8 in. diameter. Overall condition is very good with some wear to the gilt. A nice container to hold pills or a tooth for the Good Fairy.

A very handsome set of twelve sterling silver coffee spoons in a hammered Arts & Crafts design reminiscent of Georg Jensen. The design is very well-conceived, with the arching rows of beads echoing the slightly round indentations left by the hammering process. The spoons are just a bit larger than traditional demitasse spoons, but certainly smaller than teaspoons. The backs are stamped with the guarantee mark of Christian Frederik Heise, who was assay-master in Denmark from 1904 until 1932...
