PB220004 A very scarce decorated blue Aurene fan vase. The vase is shape 6297 and is marked “Steuben Aurene 6297" on the foot. The pontil is unpolished. The vase is 8 ½ inches tall and is decorated in white leaf and vine decoration. An example of this vase is shown in Figure 10.120 of Dimitroff’s “Frederick Carder and Steuben Glass.”

This Tibetan wool sash measures 12.7 cm x 340.4 cm in length including the silky fringes. The tigma (cross) motif is an ancient good luck charm among Tibetans and here it is depicted in a discontinuous weft pattern design. This miniature Japanese Satsuma vase is around 50 years old. It is 2 ½” high and 1 ½” at its widest part. It depicts a lake scene. Maple trees, iris and peonies are in front of the lake. A three story pagoda is back behind the lake. There is a painted Satsuma logo on the bottom. Aside from a small chip on the rim, it is in great condition.
