Beautiful Chinese hardwood 3 piece set including two large horseshoe back arm chairs and a matching rectangular stand, carved with a pierced scrolling vine motif, the heavy golden hardwood has dramatic grain. Possibly Huanghuali hardwood Size of each chair: 39 1/2" high x 29 1/4" wide x 27" deep. Size of stand: 28 1/2" high x 15 3/4" long x 19 3/4" wide.

Fostoria made the etching Versailles from 1928-44. This azure blue handled tort is 11.5" across and in excellent condition. The center handle is in the shape of a "fleur de les".

This is a really pretty Milk Glass white 5 inch high Bell made by Westmoreland Glass. This Bell features the hand painted Christmas Holly design with red trim. The Bell is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The clapper is attached in the bell. The hand painted Holly decoration is all very good. This Chinese ivory carving of a mountain scene is a mid 20th century product. It is 5 1/8” high (with carved wood base is 6 ¼” high), 2” wide and 1 ½” thick. It depicts a village scene on a mountain. It starts from a boat in a river. Going up the trail, people are riding a buffalo or horse, sitting in a sedan chair or just walking. There are houses, booths, a pagoda and pine trees along the trail. It is in very good condition.

A 20th Century example of a tradition laos rain drum cast in bronze. Three frogs (12 altogether) on top with a twelve pointed star with continuing concentric circle with stamp decoration. The side has two short vines with a feaf design. snails representing water and fertility.

A globular flared body rises with four attached handles of frog design. Circular concentric pattern continues throughout the top and body with a range of geometric shapes within each one...

An unusual 1940s French cocktail pick holder depicting a "racoleuse"--a streetwalker--leaning against a lamp post and raising her skirt very high. The chrome is engraved in a way to show that her thin dress does nothing to hide her more perky attributes. A selection of bakelite and chrome cocktail picks a stored in the trash can on the other side of the lamp post. Japanese young male Doll with Samurai hair cut, 3 5/8" high, 5 1/2" wide, 3" deep, with wearing brocade silk garment and lacquered on the carved wooden head, hands and face. The face of young male is incredibly fine and shows he is a young male. No damages.

The fabric is fine cotton, solidly worked in brick and satin stitch in silk thread, the colors alternating between green and orange, pink, blue and purple. It measures 3 1/4 inches x 31 inches (8 cm x 78.5 cm) and is probably from either Ghazni, Jaghori or Nawur areas of Ghazni province, or else from Daykundi and Dayzangi in the province of Orugzan. Early 20th century Chinese hand made moss green pottery storage jar featuring an unusual cut out in the lid for easy lifting. The jar interior is glazed dark brown with the rim having a clear glaze. The green glaze is thick and rich. The lid has 3 small chips on the exterior unglazed part of the rim that can be studied in the photos, otherwise in excellent condition. This is a very special jar measuring 6 inches, 7 inches diameter.
