Exquisite set of Japanese Dairi bina (hina), the emperor and the empress dolls from early to mid Showa period. This is not a large set of dolls. The measurements of the wood box are 17” wide x 12 3/4” tall x 13 1/2” deep. We should add the approximate sizes of dolls. The label indicates that they are from Matsuzaka-ya, a major department store. Matsuzaka-ya started as a kimono store in late 16th century, pre Edo period...

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen. The D-J factory closed in 1984. It was a relatively small factory with limited production. The model number is 1032 which we believe was modeled before 1970. It is 4 3/4 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across the wings. This duckling is a spunky little guy. His modeling captures his lively personality. He is hand painted with shades of brown and beige giving him a soft appearance. Condition: Excellent, first quality...

Six(6) Vintage Clear Crystal Wine Glasses, 1960's, 4 7/8" high, 3" diameter(top rim), clear cut of vines wraped around, and the condition is good.

The vintage Chinese blue and white bowl is decorated with two dragons and clouds, symmetrically opposite with the flaming pearl between the two dragons. The base of the bowl is a double circular ring which represents eternity.

The Kintsugi repairs to the bowl adds a dimension that brings it to life...

A stylish cloisonné beaker vase decorated with a yellow rose on a blue ground by Ando, a leading Japanese cloisonné maker since the beginning of Meiji period. Impressed Ando and 'jyun-gin' (pure silver) marks on the bottom rim, dated from 1950 to 1960. This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the late 1950s. It has the name of the artist, F. Heidenreich, impressed in the base. The group measures 5 1/2 inches high, 7 1/2 inches long and 6 inches deep. It is a depiction of a pair of frisky Borzoi dogs. The dogs are modeled delicately, with fine detail. Their faces are beautiful. There are many slender limbs, so it must have been difficult to keep the porcelain from failing as it was being made...

Offered is a splendid Colora vase by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, Sweden. It measures 8 3/4" tall. On the underside is etched Kosta, LC18. Excellent condition.
