A set of four large scrolls depicting seasonal landscapes by Shirakura Niho enclosed in the original signed double wood box exhibited at the 1936 Nangain-Ten and published in the book Shirakura Niho (page 127 figures 102-107). Ink & Light color on Paper in fine silk mountings, they have been completely cleaned and restored to original perfect condition retaining the original cloth by Kitaoka Hyboido of Kyoto. Each scroll is 66 x 138.5 cm (26 x 54-1/2 inches)...

This really pretty crystal clear elegant glass two-piece Chintz Cheese and Cracker snack set was made by Fostoria Glass from 1940 to 1976. The indented cracker plate measures 10 3/4 inches in diameter. The footed cheese comport measures 3 inches in diameter X 5 inches high. The comport sits on the large plate. Pair English Porcelain Plates, early 1900's, 9" diameter, Pink and Red Peony Flowering trees in the rock garden in the center, transfer design with raised enamel painted over the glaze in some areas, and cobalt blue color of leaves finished with gold lines over the glaze. They will make a very nice display cabinet plates. Impressed mark on the bottom but could not read clearly. The condition is good, no damages.
