Cotton cloth which used to be obi (sash) for a casual kimono. It has hand-drawn tsutsugaki design. It was "Nagoya obi" which was invented in early 20th century to make it easier to tie in the traditional style. A pair of 1950’s variegated green serpentine jade stone Chinese phoenix birds with rosewood stands. The birds have great sharp details with wonderful coloring, and the polishing is simply gorgeous. The stands are deep rosewood and carved to fit each piece. In excellent condition, they measure 9.5” high on stand. Birds only measure 8" high, 4" wide, 1.5" thick...

A set of four Birks sterling silver nut or mint dishes 1940s-50s. These 4 x 2-3/8" dishes weigh 81.4 grams, and they are in excellent original condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a tiny dent in the upper lip of one dish, some very slight bends to the upper edge at one end on two dishes and some very shallow penpoint dents in the bottom of one dish (all are very minor and barely noticeable)...

Hampatong female figurine, wearing earrings and necklace, knees bent, standing on a square base. Wood, with fine glossy dark patina. Indonesia, Borneo Island, Dayak Peoples. Height: 11 cm.
