A finely painted famille rose dish depicting a misty landscaping. Mid-20th century. The original mark had been ground and a "Hong Kong" stamp was added. Other than this, the dish is in perfect condition. Diameter: 13".

This Barbini from the 1960's will bring a smile when you look inside to see the large murine fish at the bottom. Six strategically placed bubbles surround the fish, whose body is dark green at the top, with subtle aventurine stripes on a gold leaf body. The amorphous bowl form is a champagne color, 6 1/2" diameter and 2 1/2" tall, and is in excellent condition with normal wear at the base consistent with its age.

Fostoria Romance Mayo: the bowl is 5" across, the underliner is 6.3" wide. The Romance etching was produced from 1942-82. This set is in mint condition.

Fenton 6" Ming Etched Bowl was made in the 1930's. It is three-legged. It is in mint condition.

Four Seasons or Pate de Verre collection by R. Corbin. This plate is purple and represents Autome or Ete, 1969. The back reads Made in France. The plate is 10 1/2" across numbered 1120/2000

Rubbings of ancient stone carvings are illegal in China as the process damages the stone. In very good condition, the rubbing measures 39.5 inches x 21 inches. Scroll measures 30" x 56" and comes in a bamboo container.

Large vintage “bush knife” from Lanna Thailand, this is an all purpose tool with a thick spine and very sharp edge- quite heavy as well. Pair of Cranes Painting and Poem by Korean Buddhist Monk Su An Sunim (born 1940). The crane is a an ancient symbol of longevity and immortality. Because cranes were believed to stay with one mate for their lifetime, it is also a symbol of faithful love. When the crane is paired like this, the meanings of immortality and fidelity combine to mean eternal love. The flying-white brushwork and ink washes here display Su An Sunim's mastery of zen art at its best...
