This shaker is part of the Windsor pattern made by Jeannette Glass from 1932 to 1946. Although only one is pictured, price is for a pair. One is perfect, the other has a tiny chip on the rim underneath the lid.! See my other listings for more in this pattern.

Rich impact art deco plate from the pottery master Kanou Mitsuo. He was born and lived in Kyoto c.1903-1970. He was known for his tortoiseshell glazes. In 1949 he won first prize at the Nitten, Japan's prestigious Fine Arts Exhibition. Later he was asked to be the top judge in the event. The plate comes in the original signed kiri wood box and on the lid it reads, 'Bekkou Yu' tortoiseshell glaze, and 'Hirabachi' flat plate...

Old Colony is the correct name for the pattern that collectors have always called 'Lace Edge'. It was produced by Hocking from 1935 to 1938. Offered here is the 10 1/2 inch grill plate in pink. Bead Chain fixtures were the standard ceiling fixture of the American home from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. The decorative glass shade hung from 3 bead chains, and could be adjusted up or down depending on the size of the room and height of the ceiling. The graceful Art Deco design of these fixtures makes them the perfect fit in today's homes.
This vintage 10 inch glass shade has a floral pattern that looks like chrysanthemums done in crystal against a pastel blue background...

Chinese posrcelain tea bowls with saucers and lids. The cups and lids are beautifully painted with phoenixes and dragons flying through clouds. The saucer is painted with pink, blue and yelow clouds. The cups are signed Chein Lung on the base, date from republic period. They measure 4.5" wide 3.5" tall with saucer and lid.

Interesting Modern Glass vessel depicting a stylized expression of a tree branch covered with abstract crawling critters and a realistic rendering of a glass ladybug. There are similar examples of Memphis style and application technique in Leslie Pina's ITALIAN GLASS. On pages 224-226, there are similar pieces attributed to Andrea Anastasio of Memphis. The vessel is 18.5" tall, in excellent condition, unmarked.
