These mall sized ghurras are used to churn small quantity of milk when in summer pasture with sheep, the carving shows 4 separated poles joined with a rope knot and surmounted by 4 milk pots supporting a ram , very nice black patina with important signs of used, at least from mid 20th, from Rukkum district . H 20 cm, wide 3 to 8 cm, thick 1 to 3 cm.

This super classy table server consists of the 11-1/2 x 6" pierced footed asparagus cradle or drainer and the matching 15-1/4 x 6-1/8" two-handled underplate or tray with bun feet. The cradle has a wirework frame and rest for a butter or sauce boat (not present) and the tray has the mark for Barker Brothers of Birmingham, England...

This vintage 1940's hand hammered, hand forged 980 sterling silver bowl was designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Weighing a hefty 652 grams or 23 oz. the bowl measures 10 inches across and 2 inches high. The base measures 5 1/4" across. The rim is finished with a thick rope design. This piece is in beautiful condition & fully hallmarked for Spratling on the reverse.

Dating to the 1950s - 1960s era, this beautiful, white and cobalt blue colored pair are in excellent condition. The large jar measures 10.75 inches tall x 6 inches in diameter. The small jar measures 7.5 inches high x 4.75 inches in diameter.

Born in 1920 in Yamagata Prefecture, Takahashi Keiten first studied metal casting under Nagano Tetsushi in 1950. His work was first accepted into the government-sponsored 7th Nitten exhibition in 1951. In 1963, he won the encouragement prize at the Nihon Dento Kogei Ten (Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition) and from 1972 served as a judge for the exhibition...
DESCRIPTION: A lovely set of five red clay Mexican earthenware nesting bowls, dating from the 1950's. The bowls are decorated in fluid strokes of blue between blue line borders on a white/cream ground. The interiors have a line of blue around the inner circumference with dollops of green glaze. Very good condition, no chips, original imperfections that add to the charm. DIMENSIONS: Largest bowl: 10.25 diameter x 4.75” high. Smallest bowl: 5.5” diameter x 2” high.
