This vintage 1940's hand hammered, hand forged 980 sterling silver bowl was designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Weighing a hefty 652 grams or 23 oz. the bowl measures 10 inches across and 2 inches high. The base measures 5 1/4" across. The rim is finished with a thick rope design. This piece is in beautiful condition & fully hallmarked for Spratling on the reverse.

This is a really pretty pink Holiday, aka Button and Bows, 4 inch high Flat Water Tumbler made by Jeannette Glass from 1947 to 1949. This elegant, delicate water tumbler is by Morgantown Glass from early in the Depression years. It is in the Anna Rose pink color showing the deep optic swirls of the Palm Optic pattern. The foot is also pink and broad for good balance. It stands 4 3/4" tall and is in excellent, undamaged condition. I have the taller version of this pattern in my inventory of elegant glass... take a peek. Insurance and confirmation are included in the price.

The salad plates are 7 7/8" in diameter. They have pink roses, gray leaves and smooth rims with gold border.

Being offered is an exceptional and rare circa 1945 sterling silver bowl by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Handwrought bowl featuring three incised silver tabs with bezel set amethyst cabochons. Dimensions: 10 inches diameter by 1 3/4 inches tall, the 3 amethyst tabs are 2 7/8 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches deep. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition, great weight 19 oz.

Antique Burmese lacquerware offering tray or "Kalat" coated with red and black laquer used by families to carry offerings of food to the monastery. This matt glaze Roseville silver haze gray 10" vase has a single opaque white gardenia which is suspended from branches with pointed green leaves on a band that wraps completely around the shape. Circa late 1940s.
