This Famille Rose porcelain GuanYin figure is a mid-20th century product. It depicts a seated GuanYin holding a gold globe in her left hand. It is 10 1/8” high and 8” wide and 5 1/8” thick (both measured from the bottom). The artist name, Zheng Long Sheng, is stamped on the bottom. It is in great condition.

It was originally made as an exclusive for Weil Freeman Company in 1944, but when they didn't renew the contract, Fenton added it to their regular line and continued production until 1947. Peach Crest is the name for this wonderful Fenton pattern that combines ruby glass cased over milk glass and then finished with a clear edge.
