A limited-edition color woodblock print by the Japanese Sosaku Hanga artist Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997). Titled "Obakusan Uji (A)", dated "1960" and numbered "38/150" in pencil. Hand signed in black ink and with red seal. Paper with watermark "Kiyoshi Saito". Condition: very good impression and color, laid down at upper corners. Czech Art Deco zoomorphic 1930’s swan-form decanter by Karel Palda. Hand-blown glass body and handle with a silver plated head having a flip top pour spout. It is marked Czechoslovakia on lid hinge. In excellent vintage condition, it measures 12" high.

The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 6 1/2 inch high juice or martini pitcher. The style is called 'Tijuana' and it holds 34 oz. Perfect condition, see my other listings for more Crinkle items in different colors.

Old oxcart for Hina Matsuri, the Japanese girl's festival. Decorated in makie on lacquered wood, this style of the carriage was used by the aristocrats during the Heian period (I794-1185). This can be displayed with the "shittei (shitei)", three servants dolls and/or other small dolls. The carriage is tied to the stand in original condition which needs to be untied after the shipment. The strings have been putting pressure on the two front legs of the ox...

Interesting Bronze Buddha seated on lotus throne with wheel of dharma and two male stag deer in attendance below him. The two male deer are Nigrodha and Sakha, part of a specially poignant Jataka Tale helpful with the teaching of the first sermon at the Deer Park in Sarnath. Helpful with the teaching of the eightfold path to escape and end suffering.

This is a 19th century Chinese shallow curved plate featuring a lively grouping of eight spotted blue and white horses, depicting a wedding story from Chinese mythology; unglazed footrim; greige coloration; a four-character mark on the underside; condition: several minor chips on the rim; SIZE: 5" diam.

Sung - Ming Dynasty bronze belt buckle with engraved bat, fine detail attachment at back now lost. Size 13/4" by 3/4"

A large Murano glass fish figurine with silver flecks and variegated color splashes, designed in the style of Dino Martens (for Aureliano Toso). The figurine is 16 1/4 inches (41,3 cm) tall and 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) wide. Except for some roughness at the bottom of the tail (probably as made), it is in fine condition. It is made in green and clear sommerso glass. Unsigned - remnants of a large yellow sticker on bottom (please see last picture).
