This large carved ivory vessel with handle is a mid 20th century product. It has a dragon shaped handle and nine dragons, clouds and ocean wave motif covering its body. It is 13 ½” high, 10 1/8” wide from the widest part and 4 ½” thick from the middle part. There are two repaired crack lines along the side of the vessel. Because the crack lines are on the side, they are not obvious. There is a honorific Qian Long mark on the bottom.

A pair of cotton tabi with sashiko and a pair of kokake. Tabi is made of hand-spun white cotton and has nice sashiko for strength. Soles are machine-woven. Kokake is also made of hand-spun cotton and dyed with vegetable indigo and has fine sashiko for also strength. Kokake has no soles and it is worn over zori (Japanese sandals) for warmth and waterproof in winter. Both are in excellent condition. The first half of the 20th century. A simple, yet elegant monochrome painting of bamboo with a poetic inscription below stating how the groves of bamboo creates shade and the new sprouts in spring are inviting invoking a sense of great virtue through the bamboo. This mid 20th century Chinese carved ivory doctor's lady is 15" long, 3" high and 2" thick. The fitted hard wood base is 16 1/8" long, 1 1/4" high and 3" wide. Her left hand is holding a flower and is resting on the side of her body. Her right hand is held behind her head. She wears loose bracelets on both wrists and “lotus” shoes on her feet. There is a dark line (the center of the tusk) running along the back of her left leg...

These well-carved hardwood Luo Han statues are about 8 1/4 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 4 inches in depth. They were carved around 1950. One is holding a 7 storied pagoda; the other is holding a four sided vase. Both have inlayed eyes, but the latter is missing his right eye. They are in good condition.

This is beautiful piece that can be used as a candlestick holder or a small vase. It has a lovely Scandinavian, flowing design. Made of sterling silver, it stands 5 1/8" tall. Its base has a diameter of 3". It weighs 3 ounces. The base is marked with a whale hallmark and marked DENMARK. I have left it unpolished. It is truly beautiful and in excellent condition.

Very old and nicely carved black mask, of typical conical coiffe and slightly smiling feminine face. Wood, fine patina. Africa, Gabon, Punu Peoples, Tsangui sub-group. Height: 13 1/4" (34 cm). Old accident on left side of coiffe, erosion due to age, otherwise very good condition. Ex. old French collection.

This bright Westmoreland carnival basket shows rich purple and cranberry-red pansies with a petal from each to form the foot. The handles are clear and arc over the flowers to just touch, and the bottom is crystal clear. It measures 4 3/4" across and 4 1/2" high to the top of the handles. This wonderful display piece is in excellent condition. Insurance and confirmation is included in the price.
