Kuba figure, a workshop piece from ca. 1920-1940. This sculpture is typical for the Ecole de Mushengé. This was a school for crafts in the Kuba capital founded by Belgian missionaries, the Josephite fathers from Ghent. The numbers at the bottom confirm this. It represents a nobleman. H. 27 cm. A great example of early commercial carving. Provenance: a Dutch family by descend from their grandparents who lived in Congo.

A 2-1/4" tall vintage sterling silver baby mug. This mug is stamped STERLING 970 (possibly the model number), and it weighs 54 grams. This item has a SIMONE monogram, and it is in excellent condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor denting around the bottom rim. This rare and early example of the superb pottery of Ingrid and Erich Triller (TOBO) measures 9 3/4" tall and is 4 1/5" in diameter. On the underside of the foot is painted Triller Tobo. The incredible glaze is a complex of browns and oranges. Excellent condition. There is a very minor glaze eruption (done in manufacture) on the inside of the upper rim, which does not detract at all from the beauty and importance of this great vase. (See photos).

Set of 3 George VI sterling silver napkin rings. Made by Turner & Simpson Ltd in Birmingham in 1939. Hexagonal with allover engine-turned ornament in thin plain frames. Letter block monogram on lined ground. Each has a different letter: F, G, and L. Fully marked. Very good condition with deep patina.

This pretty cobalt blue Aurora depression glass tea or coffee Cup and Saucer were made by Hazel Atlas from 1937 to 1938. This cup measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
