A Nice old mask possibly figuring a "Raktsatsa" Note the carved horns on top on the head, very nice black and glossy soot patina, hard wood, obvious signs of important use at least from the early 20t, circa 100 years. From Central West Nepal, likely Rukum district. H 22 cm x 16 cm

1930's Chinese Fuzhou Lacquer Happy Buddha

It is 13.4 inches (34 cm) tall by 13.6 inches (34.5 cm) wide. It is 646 gram (1.3 Lb).

It has rubbing of paint, a chip at the hat's finial, chips and cracks at one spot at the sleeve, stains, writing at the underside of the hat, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the #1102 tri-vase in the emerald green color. The vase is approximately 10 inches high and in perfect condition. I have other items in this pattern available, just ask.

Tang Dynasty painted Terracotta figure of a Court Lady , beautiful piece well molded and traces of its original paint. There is no apparent damage but one tip of hair . Collected in the 1920s by a Canadian French Railroad construction engineer. There is an old label in Chinese on the back . There is a piece of tissue in the base so the dirt doesn't come out. Size h 11.5" w almost 2.5" at the hair. Note the neck has NOT been broken!

An attractive 3-7/8" high open hatpin holder c1920s. This holder features attractive hand painting and gold trim, and it is from the Byzanta Ware line, issued by Royal Winton Grimwades of England. This vanity item has the Byzanta stamp, an impressed 8 and a gold handwritten 4862 pattern number. Beautiful Japanese Wajima lacquer stand with gold maki-e painting on a nashi-ji (pear skin) background. The designs are scrolling vines with stylized chrysanthemums and paulonias, which are the crests of the emperor and empress. The style of sparkling nashiji lacquer work and the theme were popular in the Taisho period (1912-1926) to the beginning of the Showa era, sometime after the return of the throne to the emperor...

Two lovely pottery vases by Czech Dux, c 1930 or late 1920’s, the larger vase drop shaped, the smaller one bulbous. Slip glaze decoration of grapes in blue, green and brown over white. Height “11 ½ / 29 cm and “4 / 10.5 cm respectively. Green acorn within triangle mark and DUX to the larger vase, impressed model numbers to both. Condition: minor crackling to glaze of the smaller vase, the larger with a nick to the foot rim.

This is a set of 10 crystal glasses that were made in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s. They are unmarked but the style and workmanship is similar to pieces from that area. They are 3 inches high and the mouth of the glass is 2 1/2 inches wide. They ring when tapped. We think they are cocktail glasses from the shape and size. Each glass is hand decorated with enamel paint with golfers in their traditional dress. The detail is fine. The glasses are trimmed with gold on the rim and foot...
