Korean folk art carved wood figure. Bearded man in traditional attire. Holding a pipe in left hand, the right hand positioned to hold a staff and pierced for that purpose (staff missing.) Good condition save a couple chips along the brim of the hat. Height 8 1/2 inches (21.59 cm)

A mesh silver purse, c 1920-30, exquisitely worked, the brackets with roses and flower baskets. Marked Diana (design or model), German silver marks: 800, crown and moon. Width "6 ¼ / 16 cm, weight 274 grams. Condition: a very small repair near the left hinge (cf. last photo).

Early Nephrite Jade long neck turtle carving Archologist estate piece. Well, carved in a grey, brown stone unsigned very tiny nicks showing white more noticeable in images then in person. Size l 3.5" w 2" h 1.25".

Antique Chinese Brown Glazed Han Dynasty style pots probably Tang Dynasty . A unique pair of mini pots in the style of the classic Han dynasty shaped green glazed burial urns. These have a rim band inscription as well as a design at the shoulder the foot is glazed with spur marks in what appears to be a Tang brown glaze. Size 2.75" by 1.75" Period unknown may be Tang period.

Large Chinese baluster vase done in tones of under-glaze blue. The scene on this vase goes all round it and is done between multiple layers of borders. The main scene is all plants and trees.

The inside is thinly glazed. The base rim is unglazed, as well as the base. From the pictures it looks rough, but it is quite smooth.

The condition of this vase is very good. There are some places on the top rim where the glaze has skipped over...

Early 20C Chinese Famille Rose Wucai Vase with Flying Fu Dog Beast

It is 17.6 inches (44.7cm) tall by 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide. It weighs 7.1 lb.

It has hairline cracks at the sides and base. There are also chips at the base and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Interesting early Deco gilt metal pendant of Chinese shape. The front with an enameled motif of a lady with Chinese hairstyle busy with needlework in front of a smoking scenser, all within a keyfret border. The back with a cracked ice border surrounding a willow tree and ducks in a pond. Probably French, around 1920. Width "1 ½ / 3.7 cm. Condition: fine, except for a darker spot to the back, visible from a certain angle (cf. last photo).

Chinese antique Qingbai carved bowl. The deep rounded sides sketchily carved on the exterior with flower sprays, covered inside and out with a pale blue glaze that continues over the narrow ring foot to cover the base and stops below the unglazed rim which retains remnants of the original tin mount.

Size: Approximately 6-3/8" diameter by 2-1/8" high

Condition: Overall very good condition. No breaks...

Chinese tea caddy and saucer done in grisaille tones with gilt.

The tea caddy has a orange peel white glaze ground with a central flower with butterflies on the front and back. Similar design is on each side. The cap is original. The base left bare.

The saucer is done in a similar design with a central flower surrounded by various borders...

This elegantly styled murrine pitcher by Fratelli Toso illustrates the technical expertise that the Muranese artisans possess. Each murrine is individually made and they are assembled and fused to the blowpipe and then blown into this relatively thin and elegant form. Being a glassblower myself, I have great respect for the level of skill demonstrated in vessels constructed with murrine. These were produced in the early 1900's, according to Leslie Pinas' "Fratelli Toso"...

Fabulous circa 1920s Murano candlesticks in ruby red, a color rarely seen in early Italian glass. Each candle stick has two applied opaque green glass pears with black stems. The execution and design of this pair is exceptional. In excellent condition. Unsigned. Each just under 10" tall. Note: the photos make the items look as though they are leaning. This is just a sign of my bad photography and not a problem with the items. More photos of this item can be seen on my website PlanetGlass.net.

There are no chips or cracks in the glass. The bowl glows under a black light. Thanks for looking.

A tilework figure of a female dog of fo and young. The dog of sancai glazes of green, yellow and aubergine. The dog with her young at her feet which climbs around to look at her. The kylin seated on a pierced rectangular plinth mounted in ormolu.

Amazing DECO Early Murano Deep RED IRIDESCENT with Flower Top Decoration Art Glass Vanity Powder Box!!!
