A very rare Mashiko platter by Living National Treasure Hamada Shoji decorated with a poem cradled in an offset ring forming the mika-tsuki or third day moon by poet Shimizu Hian. The poem reads: Akaki Mi no Omoto no Hotori Dainaru Maruki kono yo no ishi okitari, and is signed by the 76 year old man Hian meaning it was made either in 1958 or 59 (depending upon whether Hian was going by the Western or Japanese manner of counting age)...

This chalkware TV lamp is of a deer jumping over a log at the edge of a forest. The lamp is painted in greens, browns and black, and is wonderfully detailed, from the bark on the log, to the branches on the trees. The condition is excellent, with almost no paint loss, a few flakes here and there, and no chips that I can find...

As best I can tell, this is the rare first edition of this print, dating to 1934. Present are both the Watanabe "sausage" seal as well as the red 6mm seal, visible in the lower left corner of the print. Beautiful Gorham arts & crafts period (c. 1905) sterling and enamel spoon, measuring 5" long. It has blue, purple, red, and yellow enamel in a lovely arts & crafts design with a gold washed finish. The condition is very good with a slight enamel outage at the very top of the spoon (see photo). The spoon is marked "GORHAM hallmarks STERLING #870 and an "S" monogram at the back. There are 3 pairs of serving trays in this boxed set of Japanese sushi trays. Each pair is a different size and color combination. Each tray displays the family mon or emblem on the front. There are 2 red trays, 2 red and black trays, and 2 all black trays. Being Japanese, the pairs of trays nest together a specific order to be stored in the carrying box.

Lovely marble top coffee table, green with tiny handpainted flowers around the marble top and down the legs. This table dates from the mid 20th century, and is in great original condition. It measures 18" tall x 38" long x 21" deep.

Japanese woodblock print of a tall pagoda standing in a moonlit scene, with several ladies walking the streets under parasols, and small shops lit by lanterns along the side. Signed "Tangyu Asada" (1899-1984) with chop and calligraphy. Tangyu's birth name was Benji Asada, born in Kyoto, he was active in Sosaku Hanga artist circles in the area.

A French Art Deco cocktail pick set in the unusual form of a large snail accompanied by a pair of baby snails. The snail is usually alone or perhaps with just one smaller one. They are worked in chrome and are set on a mahogany base. The design is by the famed French Art Deco illustrator Benjamin Rabier, who had a side gig designing entertaining barware. The twelve picks have red bakelite finials...

Chinese Bamboo woven Food Basket with Bamboo handle, 19" high with handle, 13 1/2" x 7 1/2" wide, made later part of 1800's to early part of 1900's, with three(3) tiered compartments. Some of the Brass decorative buttons are missing. Bottom of the handles on both sides have carved Monogram "S" and very fine Bamboo weaving with many detailed different patterns on the entire surface.

Made in Portugal hand painted on Ceramic framed round Mirror, 16" diameter, 1 1/2" deep, frame-1 3/4" wide, 1 1/2" deep, with hand painted design of pleasant and peaceful farm houses and large birds are flying in blue sky. Hole in the back on top is for hanging. The condition is good, no damages.
