A very rare Mashiko platter by Living National Treasure Hamada Shoji decorated with a poem cradled in an offset ring forming the mika-tsuki or third day moon by poet Shimizu Hian. The poem reads: Akaki Mi no Omoto no Hotori Dainaru Maruki kono yo no ishi okitari, and is signed by the 76 year old man Hian meaning it was made either in 1958 or 59 (depending upon whether Hian was going by the Western or Japanese manner of counting age)...

This chalkware TV lamp is of a deer jumping over a log at the edge of a forest. Beautiful Gorham arts & crafts period (c. 1905) sterling and enamel spoon, measuring 5" long. It has blue, purple, red, and yellow enamel in a lovely arts & crafts design with a gold washed finish. The condition is very good with a slight enamel outage at the very top of the spoon (see photo). The spoon is marked "GORHAM hallmarks STERLING #870 and an "S" monogram at the back. Lovely marble top coffee table, green with tiny handpainted flowers around the marble top and down the legs. This table dates from the mid 20th century, and is in great original condition. It measures 18" tall x 38" long x 21" deep.
Japanese woodblock print of a tall pagoda standing in a moonlit scene, with several ladies walking the streets under parasols, and small shops lit by lanterns along the side. Signed "Tangyu Asada" (1899-1984) with chop and calligraphy. Tangyu's birth name was Benji Asada, born in Kyoto, he was active in Sosaku Hanga artist circles in the area.

Chinese Bamboo woven Food Basket with Bamboo handle, 19" high with handle, 13 1/2" x 7 1/2" wide, made later part of 1800's to early part of 1900's, with three(3) tiered compartments. Some of the Brass decorative buttons are missing. Bottom of the handles on both sides have carved Monogram "S" and very fine Bamboo weaving with many detailed different patterns on the entire surface.
