Modelled in the Roseville traditional Nouveau-Déco transitional style, glazed in matte green, white and yellow with a design of relief modelled Cosmos flowers, c 1940. Marked Roseville U S A 1151-2. Height 2"/5,5 cm, diameter 3 ¾"/9,5 cm. Condition: a few restored chips to exterior of upper rim of one candle holder (cf. pics) otherwise fine.

Here is a classic Stig Lindberg design. It is number 39 out of 125 made in 1981. Measurements are 12" by 15 1/2". Excellent condition. One of the last works of the master. Signed Stig L and dated (19)81. This work of art is called "Cinderella".

Beautifully carved Green Spinach Jade Chinese Boulder with landscape scenes of mountainous village with go players and bamboo groves, peaked rooflines and finely written calligraphy poetry on two surfaces on an interesting wooden reticulated branch base. The view is referring to the seven sages of the bamboo grove, where noted scholars gathered in doing literati activities. Size: 8.25" height (11" w/stand), 11.25" length (13.5" w/stand)

A beautiful late 19th/20th Chinese Qing dynasty monochrome yellow vase with a light carving of twin dragon chasing the fire ball,in excellent condition. Marked Qianlong H:9-1/2"

Old Chin skirt, circa 1950, from the Khumi subgroup in Burma. The design is called “amtosa” although deceptively simple is really extremely complex; please note in enlargements that the reverse side of this textile does not show any of the pattern on the front. This is made on a backstrap loom of very fine homespun cotton with a beaded open work border along the selvedge. Three small repaired holes. L: 1.8m/6ft and W: 40.5cm/16in.

Paden City Amethyst Tort Penny Line is in mint condition. Measures 11" x 5". Made in the 1930's.

Fenton's Cranberry Opalescent glass is one of their most popular treatments. Because it is cased glass (french crystal over gold ruby) every piece must be blown rather than pressed. This hand-work makes each piece unique. Offered here is the 389 jug in their hobnail pattern. This piece was produced from 1940 to 1948 and stands 5 1/2 inches high. An unusual and interesting polychrome enameled studio porcelain mug signed by the Japanese artist - Fukako Sei. Decoration borrows from traditional Nabeshima and Kakiemon iro-e examples with blue underglaze partial decoration filled in with red, yellow-green, turquoise and magenta enamel depicting prunus and peonies (Spring flora.) The mug with a slight taper toward the rim and a loop handle. I am, being both a coffee drinker and a ceramics collector, tempted to keep this...

Beautiful tea set made by Coalport for Tiffany & Co., New York. The design is a white background heavily decorated in raised gold. It consists of an teapot, sugar, creamer, and 6 cups and saucers. One of the cups has a fairly large crack, and another has a very small crack. Those are the only damage to the set...

A pair of Chinese thinly potted Zhadou with a pale blue glaze covering all over. The base rim unglazed. The base glazed the same with a four character Zhengde mark in underglaze blue surrounded by double circles. On carved wooden bases.

A set of three antique Blanc de Chine tea bowls made in the Dehua kilns. Each white bowl thinly potted of plain form with flared lip and tapering sides. Glazed all over in a creamy white glaze except for the foot ring. Purchased from a collection of antique Chinese porcelain belonging to an investment house.

These two rare Morgantown Princess optic amber wine stems are little pieces of fine art glass. Each whisper-thin crystal clear Princess optic bowl is mold blown and hand finished. The amber, almost root beer color stems, are pulled from the base of the bowl and given a twist before being attached to the broad flat foot. The optic blown crystal is so shiny and thin - like a wisp - that I had a hard time capturing the optic details... each has a nice ring...
