Antique British Colonial Betel nut Brass Box with compartment, beautifully made with a piano hinge.Lockable but no key and the lock seems like it would work. Size just under 6" by 4" by 3"

This embroidered cloth from Paktya province measures 22 x 22 cm and is in excellent condition. Eight-pointed stars are repeated in symmetry and bordered by scroll motifs, all executed in silk thread in solid stitchery on a fine pumpkin linen background. This textile is in excellent condition. Estimated age: mid to late 20th century. The last photo shows the textile from the reverse, which is as equally fine in detail as the frontpiece.

This Chinese ivory carving of an open clam is a mid 20th century product. There are nine people resting, walking or sitting on a cart inside the clam. They are surrounded by pine trees. Originally, this was a Japanese theme concerning the “dreams of a clam.” Later, the Chinese adopted this clever design. There are some sea creatures sitting on the top of the clam. It is 2” high (with a carved hard wood base is 2 ¾” high), 4” wide and 2 ¼” thick. It is in excellent condition...

Handcrafted modernist martini pitcher in a sleek bulbous form; all resting on a flat circular base. Dimensions: 5 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/2 diameter. Marked as illustrated in photo. An elegant Art Deco ruby glass cocktail shaker with sterling silver overlay in a grapevine pattern. The glass has a very intense ruby coloring, and the bottom has a polished pontil-a reliable sign of quality glass. Each side of the shaker is enhanced with a stylized grapevine motif worked in sterling silver overlay. The shaker is finished with a chrome-plated top.

Origin: America, ca. 1935. Condition: excellent, all original, no chips or cracks, no splits to metal. Size: 11-1/4".

Chinese Ceramic seated Duck, before 1920, 1 7/8" high, 2" x 1" wide, with original imperfection, no damage.

Cylindrical decanter in light blue, pink and white 'a canne' with a matching globular stopper. Stopper has a clear glass flange and neck. Neither the stopper nor the neck of the bottle is ground. The bottle stands 17 1/2 inches tall with it's stopper (15 1/8 inches without) and is 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the base. Retains its round blue and silver Made in Murano sticker on the base. There are two small black inclusions midway up the body of the decanter, each about the size of a pinhead...

Normandie is a depression glass pattern often called by the carnival glass pattern name 'Bouquet and Lattice'. Produced from 1933 to 1939 by Federal Glass Company, it is the only iridescent depression glass pattern from that time period. This is the 8 inch round serving bowl in excellent condition.
