Japanese folk art, farmer's clay doll: 11 1/2"h x 5 3/4"w

All the clay dolls are somehow originated from the Fushimi clay doll of the Kyoto area. Fushimi dolls were originally sold as souvenirs to the pilgrims on the road of Fushimi Kaidou from Kyoto to Fushimi Inari Shrine in the early Edo period (1600-1868). By the end of 19th century, these dolls were made all over Japan...

Offered are two very interesting and very difficult to find, antiquated, female pharmacy medications. Both drugs are in glass ampules, unused and reside in their original box packages.

First is a most unusual carton of 6 vials labeled "PITANTHM" which is a uterine stimulant used to promote labor. Inside the small 3.5" x 2.75" box are six unused ampules nesting within. The circa 1940's ampules measure 2" tall and sport a very cute paper label and are in perfect shape...

A finely carved male ibeji, with typical coiffe, scarifications on the abdomen and the back, arms alongside the torso, standing on a rounded base. Wood, with nice dark brown semi glossy patina. Africa, Nigeria/Benin, Yoruba ethnic group. Height: 30 cm. Very good condition. Provenance: Old French provincial collection.

This is a really great square milk glass, trimmed in gold, Roses and Bows 10 inch high Wedding or Anniversary candy Jar with lid made by Westmoreland Glass. This Anniversary Jar measures 5 inches square. This was a very special anniversary piece made specifically for a special occasion. Signed around the top of the lid, in gold lettering, is: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY - MARY and TED - June 16, 1945...

Thai Buddhist Ayutthaya 13-16thc Copper bronze Buddha head. Nice early piece with a red copper metal surface and good green patina. Mounted to a tiny wood base mounted c 1950s. Size over all 3.5" head 2.5" w almost 1.5" wood base is 1.2" square .

Rare bag for back pack made of plant, possibly "suge" (Carex) but not 100% sure. It is hand-knitted with very skillful technique. Used by a mountain worker. In excellent condition. 20th century. L:38cm W:27cm

This is such a beautiful combination of Victorian glass and silverplate. With an Eastlake design in the silverplate, the beautiful blue glass just glows inside. It is marked Meriden Silver Plate Co., number 1789. It measures 6 1/2" tall x 7" wide and is in perfect condition.

Neolithic Hongshan Nephrite Jade cicada Insect toggle pendant .The figure of a cicada insect the jade is well worn with deposits. The Suspension holes are biconically off set drilled with mineral deposits within. The entire surface is covered in tremolite growth , a wonderful pendant. Size l 2.25" . Collected HK 1980-1995
