An original and probably unique terracotta blacksmith by Royal Doulton figure modeller - Peggy Davies who, in her early years, was an assistant to Clarice Cliff. This item was probably made circa 1955 - 1960 and carries an incised signature on the base. Condition - the hammer is missing from the right hand as is a piece of the iron held in his left hand. This is a really pretty crystal clear Rose Point Cheese and Cracker 2 Piece Set made by Cambridge Glass. This cheese comport measures 6 inches, the handled cracker plate measures 11 1/2 inches without the handles. Both the cheese comport and cracker plate are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are just a couple slight scuff marks on the center of the plate. Very unusual hand blown and hand painted satin glass vase or rose bowl. This rose bowl is made from cased glass with pale green on the outside and royal blue on the inside. Possibly an early Fenton piece, it is in very good antique condition showing some wear to the gold gilt edging. Feels fantastically smooth the touch and a must have for the collector. Measures 4.5 inches high. Dates circa 1920-30.
