A Jazz Age Art Deco standing flatware box or chest from the 1930s. This unusual beauty has a silver and red paper Deco design over wood construction and it has a fitted interior. A vintage mid century modernist salt spoon by William Spratling in sterling silver and ebony. From Spratling's 3rd design period.

The ebony wood and sterling salt spoon measures 3 1/4" long. Marked with the conjoined 'WS' and an eagle mark that is partially struck. It is in fine condition with some tarnish and a very minor ding.

Vintage Japanese kiriwood kogo (box for incense during tea ceremony) in a form of an open fan with painted decoration of blooming kikyo-zaki (Japanese morning glory) with leaves and tendrils. Comes with tomobako (original storage box made by the artist) inscribed, signed and stamped with a seal of Munehiro Michiba, Very clever design, in perfect condition. Great piece in Japanese taste. Length 3 5/8 inches.

This fantastic vaseline tumbler is by Fenton Glass as part of a tea or chocolate set. This bright art nouveau vaseline tumbler features two dramatic wheel cut flowers and leaves surrounding the blown panel bowl. The pulled cobalt blue handle is applied. The bottom is smooth with a finished pontil. This elegant piece of art glass is in excellent, unused condition and stands 5 1/4" tall.

Sterling Silver Rim and Cut and Etched clear Crystal heavy weight Bowl and Matching Saucer, Ca. 1930's, 4 3/4" diameter top and 2 3/4" high(bowl), 6" diameter and 3/4" high(saucer), with clean clear Crystal cut design and Sterling Silver rim, both marked "Sterling" "7354" on the side of the rim. The condition is good, heavy weight.

Japanese 20th century tea bowl. The shallowly thrown tea bowl has beautiful gray coloration. Stamp on artist on bottom. The foot of the bowl was hand rolled and pressed onto the bottom of the bowl. The bowl measures 2 1/8" tall, 4 3/4" in diameter at the top and 2 1/4" in diameter at the base.

An attractive, well painted Japanese 10" x 6-3/4" lacquer over wood box c1900. This box has a richly painted scene of a bird, tree with flowers and leaves and a curved fence with mountains and a lake in the background. The thickly applied colours include textured black (tree), gold, orange and grey. This box has a black interior and the original lock (key missing) with a metal escutcheon plate; it appears to have been used as a cigar box in the past however, it could be used for many things...

Deco in feeling this all-over fringe purse is charming and in perfect condition inside and out. For a collector, a user, or both. 7" wide, 6" long, strap measures 14" end to end.

Vintage Japanese kiri wood round smoking set made from one piece of wood showing a bold beautiful grain. This tobacco smoking hibachi has a copper bowl and receptacle which are used to put a pipe or other smoking tools and ashes. Often used with tea ceremony, it measures 3.5" high x 6.5" diameter.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1116B fan vase in amethyst. (This color is a green ceramic wash applied over crystal glass.) The vase is approximately 7 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition. Very nice sterling silver Colonial-style porringer by Alvin Silver Co. Sterling porringers are a traditional gift for newborns, serving as a feeding dish. They are also suitable for mint/nut dishes or wine bottle coasters. The bottom is marked "Lullaby Sterling" which is a division of Alvin.

Geometric and intricately designed hand sewn throw pillow case, c.1910. Bordered (and backed) with a satiny black fabric gathered (2 1/2"), there is a yellow, green, pink, & lavender intertwining pattern of various geometric shapes and sizes highlighted by heavy black geometric stitching at the center. The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 6 1/2 inch high juice or martini pitcher. The style is called 'Tijuana' and it holds 34 oz. Perfect condition, see my other listings for more Crinkle items in different colors.

This vintage Knickerbocker figurine or novelty stem is by Morgantown Glass from the 1940s. It features a crystal clear stem of man in a top hat wearing a monocle (looks like the Planter Peanut's man.) The flared art deco amber blown bowl darkens as it forms the base, that is then attached to the stem. The foot is also amber and is blown, finished glass that is also attached to the clear stem He stands 5 1/4" high and is in perfect, unused condition. Highly collectible...
