Vintage sterling silver figural jigger in the form of a thimble. The rim is engraved "Just a thimblefull." Thimble jiggers became popular in the Victorian era and remained so through the mid-20th century. The base is hallmarked by Towle.

It has many red stamps of holy places where the pilgrim had visited such as Ominesan-ji, Kinpusen-ji, Zaodo etc. which are located between Wakayama and Nara prefecture where "shugen-sha ( holy man )" has been practicing Shugendo. A Large Sterling Silver Gorham Water Pitcher in the Cinderella Pattern, Introduced in 1925. Dimensions; 12" high x 9" wide, handle to spout and 4.25" in diameter at the base. Weight; 32 ounces. It has the Gorham mark and the date mark for 1926, along with 4 Pint, Cinderella and 20234. Script monogram (LR?). Excellent condition.

A classic figural sterling silver thimble jigger by Thomae & Co. The rim is engraved "Only A Thimble Full." The interior retains its original gilding. Several companies made variations of this jigger, but those by Thomae are among the best due to their superior weight and workmanship.

A crisply moulded Art Deco style frosted glass bowl on three pear shaped feet and with metal bound rim...

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of glass, and the decoration is so elegant. I believe it started life as a vase and was made into a lamp at a later date. The background glass is sort of mottled, but almost in stripes, in gray, gold and white. It is decorated on both sides with lotus blossoms. The paint on the blossoms is so thick that it is three-dimensional. The beautiful piece of glass measures 16" tall as a vase, and 32" tall with the attached harp. It is in perfect condition.

The Teapot (Number A2412 and 1 3/8 pints) measures 6" high x 10.5" wide and weighs 14.6 Troy ounces. The coffeepot (Number A2411 and 1 3/4 pints) measures 8" high and 10" wide and weighs 17.3 Troy ounces. There is a monogram on each. In excellent condition.

Chinese guilt bronze buddha, 20th century. A buddha with his hands in mudra, the gesture for meditation. The buddha is seated on a lotus blossom blooming out of another lotus blossom, atop a hexagonal base. It measures 14" tall, 5" wide at base.

A silver mounted Skean Dhu (Sgian-Dubh) with carved horn handle and snakeskin leather sheath made by leading Edinburgh Silversmith Robert Allison and assayed in Glasgow in 1952. Condition: excellent. 20cm (7.8 inches) long.
