This beautiful tankard and cup set is marked, JPL, Limoges for Jean Pouyat. It dates from the late 19th century up until 1932. The gilded grapes are beautifully executed against a cobalt blue ground. Perfect condition.

Phenomenal Art Deco cocktail shaker and six matching cocktail glasses by Gorham. The gently curving surface has a quilted appearance created by deeply incised vertical and horizontal lines. The spout and handle are attached to the body with a cobweb-like decorative device. The cocktail glasses are raised on tall stems with knops decorated to match the bowls. The same decorative element is repeated where the stems meet the flaring bases. The interiors of the bowls retain the original gilding...
Nice wooden recipe box in the form of a book. The cover has burnt and painted decoration showing a cocktail shaker and a beverage. The "title" of the book is "The Art of Mixing Cocktails". The cover opens to reveal a storage area for paper recipe cards specifically designed for cocktail recipes. Ca. 1920. Mirror imaged pair of Chinese planters with attached bases painted. These tapered square planters have a design of birds and flowers on opposite sides with writing and a red seal and on the adjacent sides a poem along with additional two red seals. A vintage textile in silk thread from northern Afghanistan, probably from Mazar-i-Sharif, Balkh or Tashkurghan. Circa early 20th century. These kinds of textiles were made for domestic use. The back is lined with print fabric, most likely from Ivanovo, a town northeast of Moscow. The textile depicts floral designs around three central rosettes composed of long and short stitch enclosed by linear and curvilinear borders in satin stitch. Unusual small 7 ½ inch diameter Paipoint cut glass plate with sterling silver reticulated rim. The plate is cut with Pairpoint’s pattern No 0137. as shown in “The Pairpoint Glass Knowledge Center” website. The silver rim is marked “Sterling, 5591" along with the maker’s mark of the silversmith. The plate is quite heavy for its’ size. In excellent condition.
Unique Chinese carved rock crystal double carp snuff bottle. This snuff bottle features two carps reaching upwards against a sea wave base. The smaller carp with it's mouth open and the larger carp with a rock crystal stopper in it's mouth. The double carp is a symbol in Chinese mythology for a happy union in marriage.

The delicate ladies in waiting Japanese hina dolls for the Japanese Girl's Days in February. They are extremely beautiful with delicately detailed gofun (crushed shell with paste) faces and hands. The photos could not caputured it. Their face, hair, hands and costumes are superior to many other "Jyokan" dolls, obviously the work of first rated Kyoto made dolls. The standing dolls are 8 7/8" tall. One of the sleeves on the standing doll is soiled (enlargement 8)...
19th/20th Century cylindrical bone scroll holder inscribed and stained with insects, moths, and frog, surmounted by a carved rootwood figure of a crawling toad. It is 7 1/4" tall and has a character mark to base.
