A delightful mid-century modern jigger by Reed & Barton. The figurine of the town drunk has a 1920’s feel, but the interior green enamel identifies the jigger as part of Reed & Barton’s “Color-Clad” line designed by John Prip and introduced in 1961. The bottom is marked “Reed & Barton 2oz” and has the pattern number “260.”

A hand-embroidered Uzbek curtain from northern Afghanistan, mid to late 20th century. Silk floss thread on green cotton in long and short stitch, this textile is fully reversible and either side may be used as the face. It measures 84 x 105 cm including the silk fringe. The central rosette is enclosed by borders and surrounded by curved and sinuous patterns in vivid contrasting color. Condition is very good but with some slight fading and a few small dark stains in one corner.

Russian? Persian? Very vintage 900 silver figural detailed feather bird pin brooch with an out spread wingspan. Very interesting maker's mark of a bird - possibly Austro Hungarian. Marked in back 900.
The brooch's shape is almost like that of the Czar of Russia or Romanov symbol, except that this is one headed. Complete with a spray of feathers between the claws and showing strong stance.

Embroidered purses ("bushkiri") are used by the Baluch to store and carry valuables and bridal dowry gifts. This little purse is embroidered in extremely fine satin stitch, brick stitch, and ladder stitch in silk thread, forming interlocking lozenge and chevron designs. Condition: some wear throughout. It measures 10 x 18 cm when opened, 9.5 x 10 cm when closed.

Beautiful 4-string lute ("saranghi"), the top in the shape of a head holds the four keys, the body itself is made of two parts of heart shape. Wood, with nice dark-brown glossy patina. The lower part is covered with animal skin affixed with tiny wood pegs. Himalaya, 19th century. Height: 22 1/4" (55,6 cm). The lute is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Obvious signs of use and age, otherwise very good condition...
Fenton Silvercrest Nappy. Silvercrest was produced from 1952-1970. This heart-shaped nappy is 8" long (from handle to point) and about 2" high. 2 are available and are in excellent condition.
A lovely English cut crystal powder or dresser box. The cut glass jar features 3 large flowers with alternating leaves. A deep cut star is on the base bottom. The sterling silver lid is beautifully decorated with a chased Art Nouveau design around the outer edge. The center of the lid is plain and can be engraved. Lid is marked silver and tests sterling silver. The box is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Measures about 3" high x 3.75 at widest. Circa 1920.
Two beautiful Quezal and Durand iridescent art glass vases made around 1925. Both vases are signed on their polished pontils and both vases are in excellent condition (there is an etched, 'V' on the body of the Durand vase - it might be the first initial of Victor Durand). This candle holder is a nautilus form faience candle holder from Malicorne-sur-Sarthe, France, a town in the region of Pays de la Loire famous for its decorative ceramics and stoneware. A rival and complement to the nearby Quimper factory, many of the designs are similar in form. This piece is likely from the early to mid-20th century.

Roseville Futura jardinaire measuring 10" x 14 3/4" wide, this grey outside with pink leaves is in perfect condition. The inside has some water stains as it was used for plants, but it is otherwise perfect original condition.
