Excellent vintage condition

A large, scalloped sterling bowl with rope twist rim marked Shreve Crump and Lowe Sterling 865S. There are light scratches on the bottom and some polish marks. It measures 3" (h) x 9.75"(w) and weighs 14ozs./397 gr.

Vintage Japanese burlwood stand of irregular shape, to be used for placing small objects during tea ceremony or display of okimono. Wonderful dense wood with supremely beautiful texture resembling swirling clouds, in excellent condition. Length 4 1/4 inches, width 3 inches, height 1/2 inches.

This set of 10 porcelain soup cups and saucer was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1925. The date ciphers on the bottom indicate that year. They were made especially for the retailer Marshall Field of Chicago. All of the pieces are artist signed by renowned Worcester painters. Two of them are E. Phillips and A. Freeman. The saucers have a diameter of 5 3/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high not counting the handles...

Oversized Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print by Fumio Kitaoka (1918-2007) depicting a fishing village. Traditional geometric designs embroidered on a plain weave cotton animate this Hazara cloth from Afghanistan measuring 33 x 39 cm. Cross stitch in multicolored silk thread form an interlocking star pattern. Condition of the textile is excellent. Estimated age: late 20th century. The Hazara are the third largest ethnic group in Afghanistan, inhabiting mostly Bamiyan province but also Orugzan and Ghazni provinces.

2nd-3rd C Gandharan Schist Buddhist Temple panel carving. The panel depicts the Buddha sitting on a platform with attendants bringing offerings , behind the Buddha are a pair of tree branches with wide foliage . The Buddha and platform is almost 8" alone. The piece has been repaired as seen from the back but the damage runs under the necks of the attendants and does not affect the faces . The face of Buddha has some damage ...
