A very scarce Watson and Newell demitasse spoon of an African American child eating watermelon. The spoon has “Shreveport, LA” engraved in the bowl. The back is marked “Sterling” and has the Watson & Newell logo. The spoon is shown as item 562-4 on the Watson and Newell 1900-1910 catalog page illustrating “Souvenirs for the South.”

Fenton Hobnail Milkglass Compote is in mint condition. It stands about 6.25" tall and is 6" wide. Made in the late 1950's-60's.

Large Indian textile a toran. Superb quality hanging for an archway. 9 hanging leaves each containing 50 small mica mirrors. Good condition multi coloured embroidery on hand woven cotton. 106 x 64 cm. Black faded text on reverse. Undated.

1932's Japanese Woodblock Print "Rain at Shinagawa", Signed Kawase Hasui, Publisher Sealed Watanabe (6 mm seal)

The overall measurement is 22 inches (55.9 cm) long by 14.1 inches (35.8 cm) wide. The print is 15.35 inches (39 cm) in length by 10.3 inches (26.3 cm) wide. The seal is 6.28 mm in diameter.

The top of print is glued to a backing. The print has creases at the borders, fading, minor browning, yellowing, and discoloration (as seen in the photos)...

Persian Heriz hand knotted wool carpet, room size 9' x 12 1/2' Ca. 1950's, beautiful reddish geometric design in the center bordered by dark blue background, typical Heriz design, the condition is good, nice soft wool touch on the surface and very clean and in good condition.

1930's Chinese Fuzhou Lacquer Happy Buddha

It is 13.4 inches (34 cm) tall by 13.6 inches (34.5 cm) wide. It is 646 gram (1.3 Lb).

It has rubbing of paint, a chip at the hat's finial, chips and cracks at one spot at the sleeve, stains, writing at the underside of the hat, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Set of 13 Pieces Old (1930's) Japanese Nippon Chocolate Set with Cranes Marked

The chocolate pot is 8.6 inches (22 cm) tall by 7.1 inches (18 cm) wide. The cups are 2.8 inches (7.5 cm) tall by 3.6 inches (9 cm) in diameter. The saucers are 5 inches (12.5 cm) in diameter.

The entire set has rubbing of gold, some have slight discoloration and yellowing, surface wears, and rubbing of the markings...

Extraordinary bronze group of a panther with black patina. On the lookout, on a large branch also in bronze, carved in a very realistic way, it seems to be watching its prey, ready to pounce. Cotton futonji with minimal shibori design whose technique is "Nui-shibori (folded and stitched). It is made in Asamai in Akita prefecture where shibori has been practiced since late 18th century and it was most prosperous in the second half of the 19th century, however it declined rapidly because of the machine spinning and chemical dye developed. The local people are trying to preserve the Asamai shibori technique now. In excellent condition. The first half of the 20th century...

Offered here is a rare piece of Cambridge Cleo. This is the #617 cigarette jar and dates prior to 1930. (It's shown in the 1927-9 catalog reprint.) An exciting example of mid-century Murano color and metal inclusions: cane, latticino, murrine, and aventurine gold are encased in a sumptuous, double scroll modern form.
