Vintage Chinese jade carved miniature of a mother and child. The mother is squatting down as the child climbs on it's mother's leg and a stone. The child throws one arm with a small sack over the mother's shoulder, the other hand is held between the mother's two hands. It measures 2.5" by 2" by .5". Republic period, circa 1950.

Mexican Pre Columbian Tlatilco Terracotta Head with crescent headdress . Rare fragment from an early culture c 1200bc-600bc. Tlatilco is noted in particular for its high quality pottery pieces, many featuring Olmec iconography. Tlatilco figures were known for their elaborate hair styles. The headdress has been reattached . This is a very old dhyandro drum handle showing a very thick encrusted soot aptina. The design of the sculpture clearly indicates a Buddhist influence, in fact the shape of the Makala trunk turned upward is a characteristic of Buddhist phurbus, the central part is a dorgi wrapped with heavily fouled cloth strips. This dhynadri handle was collected in the Kirong Valley (inside Tibet)...

An attractive, well painted Japanese 10" x 6-3/4" lacquer over wood box c1900. This box has a richly painted scene of a bird, tree with flowers and leaves and a curved fence with mountains and a lake in the background. The thickly applied colours include textured black (tree), gold, orange and grey. This box has a black interior and the original lock (key missing) with a metal escutcheon plate; it appears to have been used as a cigar box in the past however, it could be used for many things...

Fostoria Emerald Green Coin Console Bowl is a hard color to find. This bowl measures 9" x 5.25" and is 3.25" deep. It is in excellent condition. Made in the 1960's.

Pair frosted cut and etched glass Shades, heavy cut from frosted glass to clear with floral and vines design, 9 1/4" high, 5" diameter-top rim, with old silver plated on copper bottom rim-1 5/8" diameter-maximum widest measurement. It is in good condition, no damage or restoration.

Fenton made the pattern "Pineapple Vine" in the late 1930's. This three-footed Cake Plate is about 13" across. See the second photo. It is in excellent condition.

This is a textile of superb workmanship, very typical of Hazara embroidery. The Hazara are the the third largest ethnic group in Afghanistan, residing mainly in the mountainous central provinces of Bamiyan, Ghazni and Orugzan. This child's dress front measures 32.5 x 65 cm. Solidly worked in cross stitch in silk thread, with satin stich on the waistbands, glass beads on the outer edges, and framed by Bokhara couching in metallic thread...
