Impressive Mashiko iron glazed jar with impressed design by Sakuma Totaro (Japan, Mashiko, 1900-1976). Circa 1950s. In excellent original condition. 21cm high, 19cm across. Sakuma Totaro was one of the most important potters in Mashiko in the 20th century, as well as Shoji Hamada's friend and "partner in grime" (Robert Yellin).

Westmoreland English Hobnail oblong Bowl measures 10"x8.5". It does have the WG logo on the bottom, in excellent condition.

The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 8 oz tumbler in amethyst. The tumbler is 4 1/4 inches high and in perfect condition. Offered is this beautiful, large and heavy Murano glass bowl with 'ovals', made most likely, by Barovier & Toso. The bowl is approximately 14 inches (35 cm) wide and 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) tall. It is in very good condition, without chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Unsigned, as expected - these 'oval' decor was typical of Ercole Barovier (please refer to page 34 of Leslie Pina's book, 'Italian Glass century 20', for an Ercole Barovier designed vase with blue ovals).

A pair of (typically) unmarked Majestic Japanned wood and brass table lamps c1950s. The black painted wood includes the 7 x 4-1/2" base with a crescent moon mounted on the brass upright with a brass ball separating it from the base. They stand 17-1/2" tall including the 12 x 6-1/2" shades, which are of fiberglass with plastic stringing on the borders and a wire cage for mounting on the lightbulb. They have their original cords with Leviton sockets with inspection stickers, and both lamps work...

Attractive sommerso stylized water bird is documented in Leslie Pinas' book ARCHIMEDE SEGUSO, page 126-7, valued there at $1000-1200. This is a fine sculptural interpretation of the natural environment of the Venetian Lagoon, which has provided inspiration to centuries of Murano glassblowers. Measuring 15.5", this Archimede Seguso masterpiece is in excellent condition, unmarked.

Overlay glass bowl or dish, the center light blue and opalescent, the edges more green than blue. Part of the edge softly folds over, creating the irregular and organic shape typical of the fifties. Unmarked. While Scandinavian art glass at the time normally was signed, this unmarked bowl probably emanates from one of the Murano glassworks. Height "1 1/3 / 3.5 and width "4 / 10.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Cambridge Pistatio Sugar is in mint condition. Only have the sugar, no creamer. Color is pistatio, otherwise, known as vaseline glass, or, by our modern young collectors, uranium glass.
