It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1172 fan vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in the ruby wash. (This color is a ruby wash applied over crystal glass. It has an almost opalescent quality to it when held to the light.) The vase is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition...

Rose Crest is was produced by Fenton from 1944 to 1947. It was originally made as an exclusive for Weil Freeman Company in 1944, but when they didn't renew the contract, Fenton added it to their regular line and continued production until 1947. Offered here is the 7 inch basket in excellent condition. See my other listings for more in this pattern, as well as other Fenton Crest colors.

Fenton first created Plum Opalescent from 1959 to 1961 (three years) and produced only a total of 19 items. This hard to find tall (7.5") Jacqueline vase is in mint condition. Originally the pattern was called Avocado, but after the assassination of President Kennedy, it was renamed "Jacqueline" after Jackie Kennedy.

Duncan & Miller Sandwich 12" Basket Vase. The Sandwich pattern was made from 1924 to 1955.

A nice bronze trumpet vase by Carl Sorensen. The surface is patinated in a mottled green, and the lower part of the vase is enhanced with parallel bands of various widths. A matching band appears around the outer top rim. Sorensen made a variety of decorative metalwares, but little is known about him. He worked in Pennsylvania, and his pieces were possibly sold by Roycroft and Tiffany. The base is signed “Carl Sorensen” and also has his hallmark.

Bead Chain fixtures were the standard ceiling fixture of the American home from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. The decorative glass shade hung from 3 bead chains, and could be adjusted up or down depending on the size of the room and height of the ceiling. The graceful Art Deco design of these fixtures makes them the perfect fit in today's homes.

This vintage 11 1/4 inch glass shade has a raised fleur de-lis scroll pattern against a sort of parchment colored background...

Six(6) English Copeland Spode Stoneware Demitasse Cups and Saucers, Pheasant design in solid green color wide band, 2 1/4" high, 2 1/4" diameter-top rim, with Butterflies and Dragon Flies decorated inside the cup, and low relief floral Branch design in solid green color outside the cup, saucer is decorated with wide green band with Pheasant. Marked "Copeland, Spode" in brown, and impressed mark with hand written number in red on the bottom. The condition is good, no damages.

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the 3 1/2 inch tumbler in frosted crystal - sometimes called 'crystal stain'. Unusual small 7 ½ inch diameter Paipoint cut glass plate with sterling silver reticulated rim. The plate is cut with Pairpoint’s pattern No 0137. as shown in “The Pairpoint Glass Knowledge Center” website. The silver rim is marked “Sterling, 5591" along with the maker’s mark of the silversmith. The plate is quite heavy for its’ size. In excellent condition.

A colorless Pairpoint compote shape A-228 decorated in the Victoria pattern. The compote is 6 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. The compote is in excellent condition.

This pair of porcelain sea lions was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. They measure about 5 inches long, 4 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall. They are signed by the artist K. Himmelstoss, a fine modeler who worked at Rosenthal. These adorable little guys look like they are kissing. They are well modeled and hand painted. Artisans at Rosenthal created animal figures with character and personality as you can see. Condition: Excellent first quality.

Rare Bavarian plate with elves by Heinrich & Co. Artist signed, the painting is of two small elves; one of which is using a leaf as a shield while fighting off a bee. It is titled "An Unpleasant Interruption". Gold rim. Excellent condition, measures 9 diameter.

This porcelain box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1905 and 1938. It measures 4 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The box is decorated with bright hand painted fruits and flowers. There are tiny flower buds, nuts and bugs dotting the corners. The box has four little feet. It is trimmed with gold on the rims. Condition: Excellent

This is a really great pair of, vintage, Ruby Red Flashed crystal, Iris and Herringbone depression glass Double Branch Candlesticks Candle Holders were made by Jeannette Glass into 1959. Each Candlestick measures 6 inches wide across the top X 5 inches high. The base measures 4 3/8 inches in diameter. Both Candlesticks are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The Ruby Red flashing is very good with just a couple very smell spots on the base of each candle holder...

Four(4) French Majolica Faience Pottery Asparagus Plates, Dishes, 9 1/4" diameter, 7/8" high, raised Asparagus design with separate section for Hollandaise Sauce area with basket weave design border. Marked on the bottom "Sarreguemines, France" in black, no damages.

Lovely pair of sterling silver short candlesticks, the sockets with an engraved design and flaring outline suggestive of a tulip blossom. The design has a nice Art Deco feel and is really much more interesting than the typical short candlesticks of this type. The bottoms are marked “Sterling” but have no maker’s mark.

Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, the bottom edge of one stick has a few truly pinpoint-sized dings (not really visible except when upside down)...

This set of six Morgantown crystal clear tea or hot chocolate handled tumblers feature the Bernadette etch surrounding the rim. This fine acid etch shows a circle of grape bunches and leaves. The blown paneled glass has a finished bottom with a pulled and attached handle. Each delicate glass in this set is in excellent, undamaged condition and stand 4 3/4" high. I have other Morgantown and elegant glassware in my inventory... take a peek...

Two unique art glass bowls by Asa (Åsa) Brandt, Sweden. ÅB is said to have been the first glass artist in Europe to set up her own independent studio, in 1968. Controlled marbled or spatter glass design in white and blue, red and green. Both signed Åsa. Diameter "7 and 5 ¼ / 18 and 13 cm, height "2 ¾ and 2 ½ / 7 and 6.5 cm respectively. Condition: fine.

A fine and vintage Scandinavian sterling silver pair of fish servers mady by the Finnish firm of Miettinen + Nurmi (1947-60). This pair has the date stamp for 1959 and 813H and the maker's mark. The 6-3/8" long fork comes with the matching 7-1/4" long fish knife. Unusually, both the blade and handle are also .813 silver, and this set has never been monogrammed. This pair weighs 68.7 grams and it is in excellent condition with monograms, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other...

A “Seaweed” bowl by Vicke Lindstrand (1904 – 1983). The Seaweed series with its streaks of mainly green and black uses the variation of Graal glass called Mykene, developed by V.L. while he was still working for Orrefors in the 1930s. Marked Kosta LH 1107. Width "5 ¼ / 13 cm, height "2 ½ / 6.5 cm. Condition: fine.

A bowl or ashtray in black, still transparent glass. No marks, but Italian (Murano) and probably by Alfredo Barbini, 1950's. The interior iridescent in "oily" rainbow or mother-of-pearl shades so that, in combination with the lobed design, a sea-shell effect is created. The exterior also iridescent, in a metal-like shade. Width: 3 ¾"/10 cm, height: 2"/5 cm. Condition: small nick to bottom at 3 o'clock as shown in the photo, otherwise fine.

Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.

This porcelain box was produced in Hungary by Herend before World War II. It is 5 3/4 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches high. The box is molded in the shape of a bunch of asparagus tied up with a pink ribbon. It is hand painted with nice detail. Condition: Excellent

A happily little soul evidently getting much pleasure from the clashing together two metal pot lids. She kneels with her feel tucked under, and her "cymbals" are held on high for maximum effect. Her cheeks are dimpled, her eyes are blue, and she wears a close-fitting brown bonnet, held in place under her chin by a huge pink-brown bow; her curled light brown hair can be seen at her forehead and cheeks.
