A Continental "800" Silver Ewer. Hand made in Italy, The Ewer weights 15.5 Troy ounces and is 12 inches high. There is a floral repousse pattern on the body and the mark on the base is "800 Lavorato a Mano 802 AL". It is from the mid-20th century. Excellent condition.

A wonderful heavy sterling silver double jigger by modernist silversmith Alphonse La Paglia. The two tapered vessels are joined by a series of silver spheres and rings that are reportedly intended to represent flower bulbs and roots. The overall appearance is severe and very elegant. La Paglia originally worked in the U.S. for Georg Jensen USA, then at International Silver beginning in 1952 until his death the following year. His designs were produced until 1957...

Made perhaps for the "Thief of Bagdad" craze and appears custom made to a small but comfortable pinky size 3, fitting this dealer just fine. Could be sized up by a reputable jeweler. Elegant Art Deco sterling silver and jeweled cigarette case made by Georg Jensen, Copenhagen, 1925-1932 comprising a rectangular shape, the cover set with a row of five sparkling diamonds and a cabochon sapphire, a cabachon sapphire clasp, gilt interior hallmarked with Jensen crown, 900, 3 1/2" x 2 1/4", 3.41 oz. Condition is excellent, minor surface scratches.
