This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Tharaud Limoges in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 Inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The cup has melon ribs and the saucer is scalloped on the rim. The ground color is deep forest green. It is decorated with white raised enamel flowers and gilded leaves. This porcelain covered box was produced in Germany by Meissen in the mid 20th century. Is has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches and is 2 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is the finest quality ever made. It is beautifully hand painted with a spray of colorful and realistic flowers. There are sprigs of flowers dotting the lower half of the box. The rims are trimmed with heavy gilding. Condition: Excellent. This is a first quality piece.
