Heavy, thick walled vase in cobalt blue cased in crystal, with silvery air traps in a repeating geometric pattern.

The vase stands 8 inches tall and is 4 inches in diameter at the top. the base tapers to 2 1/4 inches.

This vase weighs in at 9 pounds, a lot of weight to work with on a handmade, hand-finished piece!

A rare and desirable shade vase attributed to Steuben in shape 2533 using gold Aurene vine decoration with iridescent finish on calcite pink ground. In excellent condition but with one slight black mar on the interior of the trumpet flare as seen in the photograph. Unsigned. Dimension: 4 7/8" h

The compote has excellent weight - you know you are getting a quality piece of crystal when you feel it in your hand. While it is unmarked, it bears considerable likeness to Val St Lambert, much of whose production was unmarked...

The Colony Harvest molds were first used to produce beautiful snowy white, handmade milk glass items. The milk glass items were called Colony Harvest. Colony is a trademark of the Lancaster Colony Corporation. Indiana Glass produced the milk glass Harvest items but they were never sold under the Indiana Glass name. A pair of English sterling silver 2-3/8" candlesticks hallmarked Birmingham, England 1969. These small yet elegant candle holders are traditional in shape and they have felted bottoms. They have the maker's mark S.J.R (probably S.J. Rose, Birmingham (1887-) and they have never been monogrammed or initialled. They are in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A Fa Dahlia Dutch 835 solid silver pastry pie lifter or cake server dated 1920. This ornate European silver 8-1/2" dessert server features a high relief village scene, flowers and a mythological mask on the pierced work blade and the stem is fancy as well. This fine dining or tea table serving piece is topped with a finely detailed sailing ship. It has various Dutch hallmarks including the .835 silver mark, the K date mark (for 1920) and the maker's mark for Fa. Dahlia...

Pairpoint vase with sterling foot, scalloped rim and handles. The 5 3/4 inch tall vase is copper wheel engraved in a foliate pattern. The foot is marked “Sterling 85" and “Black, Starr & Frost.” The Black, Starr & Frost signature dates the piece to no later than 1929.

I have always really liked the black bottle doll doorstops. They are something I keep more than I sell. I am offering of few of mine for sale so here is the second one. This bottle doll with her head tipped to one side and her mouth, down turned and barely visible is wearing a red polka dot dress with a shear cap and apron. I have only had one other doll with a secret and the story goes like this...

A charming petit point on silk purse, done in the tiniest of stitches, and showing a different scene on each side. On the front is a young woman feeding a chicken, the other side showing a swan in a lake with a fountain and castle in the distance. Both sides have a line of flowers surrounding the scenes, the whole against a pale gray lavender background...

An elegant set of six gilt sterling silver mint julep spoons, the bowls decorated in the form of a pair of overlapping mint leaves. The stems are hollow, so they can be used as sippers, too. The spoons can also be used for iced tea. The gilding is a beautiful, rich shade of gold. The spoons are marked “Tiffany & Co. Sterling”.

Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, all original, gilding intact. Dimensions: 8-1/2” long. Weight: 74.3 grams.

These 10 porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1932. They have the date cipher that indicates this year. The plates have a diameter of 9 1/2 inches. They are made of fine bone china and have a slightly scalloped edge. The ground color is cobalt blue with a lacy fern type gilding over it. The centers of each plate have hand paint bouquets of flowers in bright colors. The plates are signed by the Worcester artist, Townsend. No two plates are exactly the same...

A interesting Art Deco chrome wine bottle caddy in the form of a sled. The runners ensure that the caddy can be pushed easily across a table surface. The sides of the sleigh are decorated in a hammered and pierced pattern. This caddy can be used any time of year, but would be particularly nice on the Holiday table!

An elegant modern form in a Sommerso blend of extremely light tints of blue and green. This fine modern expression is 12" x 4.5" x 4", and is free of chips, cracks, and scratches with a normal wear at the base reflecting its age and an etched Seguso signature. Most likely it was made by Angelo Seguso in the 1970s.

Exquisitely crafted white "opalino a coste" cornucopia with gold powders created in 1955 by Archimede Seguso. Obviously a favorite of the author, it is well-documented in Leslie Pina's book, "ARCHIMEDE SEGUSO, mid-mod glass from Murano, LACE and STONE" P. 202-206 The crystal glass in this beauty has a generous amount of gold powder inclusion and bears the scalloped Seguso label, in addition to an older scalloped label with hand-written digits . A modernist pair of Sterling Silver salt and pepper shakers by Rancho Alegre. Main portion is in a brushed texture contrasting with the bottom disks which are shiny and smooth. The very top parts are shiny also. Measure 3" tall and 1 1/2" across the bottom. Signed Rancho Alegre, Sterling, Taxco and 925. Also signed N. Giles on the bottom of one, probably for the designer. Nice condition with some minor tarnish. Pre eagle, 1948. Fine Mid Century feel.
