This unusual transparent window murrine vase by Fratelli Toso is documented in Leslie Pinas "FRATELLI TOSO", pg.68. Titled "Tiffany Windows" because of the transperent murrines, this vessel is amazing in good light and an excellent example of the Murano Glassblowers skill. Every murrine is transparent, allowing the light to flow through nicely and reminds one of "the colors of Murano"! Measuring 5.25" tall, the vase is in excellent condition and retains the made in Murano Italy label.

This superb rendition of a lovebirds pair resting on a crystal log surely is the work of Archimede Seguso. The colorization of the birds is achieved with fragments of blue and white opal filigrana cane, resulting in a merletto type effect which is largely Archimede Segusos signature technique. The birds' gestures, beaks, wings and tails are similar to birds depicted in Leslie Pinas' book on Archimede Seguso. The two ends of the log are nicely ground convex and polished...

Unusual basket form similar to Archimede Segusos' foglia designs. The form is colored a subtle gold pink with bullicante bubbles and ribs. This fine sculptural expression demonstrates the skill of the Murano glassblowers, measures 7"w x 6"d x 9"h, and is unmarked.

This stylized interpretation of a waterbird illustrates the inspiration that the environment of the Venetian Lagoon has provided for centuries of artists. The waterbird sculpture is done in sommerso, with wine red blending masterfully into light cobalt blue. I have seen this design attributed to both Archimede Seguso and Alfredo Barbini. The waterbird is in good condition, no chips at the feet, polished base, unmarked.

This charming pair of sculpted boxer dogs by Archimede Seguso is in excellent condition and both retain Seguso labels. One of the labels is described in Leslie Pinas book, "Archimede Seguso", as the label applied to artistic designs. The large dog is 8" x 5" tall, and the puppy is 6"tall.

This stylized conch is documented in several publications, including Leslie Pinas' ITALIAN GLASS, PG 146, valued at $800-$1000 and Helmut Ricke & Eva Schmitts' ITALIAN GLASS. This modern expression of the conch shell exemplifies that even as the Murano glass designers were being influenced by the Modernist movement, life and elements from the Venetian Lagoon continued to serve as an inspiration for artists. Measuring 6.5"w x 3.5" x 5.5"h, the Conchiglie is in good condition, unmarked.

The Arcobaleno (rainbow) series was produced in 1956, and is documented in Carl Gables' MURANO MAGIC and Rosa Barovier Mentastis' ANZOLO FUGA. This Dramatic mother and child sculpture is masterfully executed and has the full name signature of Licio Zanetti. It is understood in the market that Licio put his full name on only those pieces that he considered most important and these are considered the most valuable of his work. This fine piece of Italian fruit sculpture by Archimede Seguso was blown into a diamond patterned mold and has a skillfully applied arrangement of crown leaves, each leaf applied individually. Executed in pure crystal glass, the sculptural form attracts and refracts light beautifully. The pineapple is 11.5" tall, has a polished bottom, and is in good condition with no damage, unmarked.

Venetian elegance best describes this tall vintage Murano vase in a dramatic sommerso blend of amethyst and copper blue glass. The vessel is 15" tall and in excellent condition and retains a Made in Italy, Murano label.

This Murano Glass modern expression is typical of the Flavio Poli vessel and animal designs for Seguso Vetri d'Arte in the 1940's and 1950's. There are many references to the modern forms with multiple sommerso layers of controlled bubbles and a generous layer of gold leaf by Flavio Poli. A fine sterling silver double jigger in an Art Deco pattern by Tiffany & Co. The only decoration are incised bands around the lip of each cone-shaped vessel. This severe geometric style is typical of the Art Deco wares produced by Tiffany. The jigger is fully hallmarked by Tiffany and is stamped with the date mark used 1907-1947.

Charming vintage Murano glass dog in sommerso with gold collar attributed to Alfredo Barbini. Rare blond tortoiseshell case, circa 1930, is considered the most desirable of all tortoiseshell. This handmade case was originally made to hold cigarettes but is a perfect size for business cards. Having a rich amber color and inlaid with a gold diamond shape monogram SH, slightly domed and grained surface, arm swings out from base to create a stand. Measurements: 5"x 3 1/2"x 1/4". Very good vintage condition with minor surface scratches and small chip inside lip.

A vintage sterling silver vermouth dispenser by Gorham in the form of a syringe. These were called “Martini Spikes” when sold by Gorham in the 1960s. The functioning plunger allows vermouth to be drawn up into the syringe, then dispensed in precise doses into your favorite cocktail. Marked “Gorham Sterling 429 Pat. Pend.”.

A rare, complete set of sterling silver demitasse spoons in the "Flowers of the Months" pattern by Tiffany & Co. presented in their original fitted case. The finial of each spoon features an illustration of a different seasonal flower such as a holly, clover, iris, pansy, poppy, etc. The bowls are parcel gilt. The back of the spoons are stamped with the Tiffany hallmark used 1907-1947. These spoons were made for only a short duration and complete sets are quite difficult to find...

These elegant, charming Beaumont Glass keyhole candlesticks are in an opaque, clambroth color on the Fer-Lux blank. Each belled and flared foot shows enamel green dots - quite festive. This bright Westmoreland carnival basket shows rich purple and cranberry-red pansies with a petal from each to form the foot. A vintage First Australian Imperial Force (AIF) privately purchased World War I era pin in 9K yellow gold. This 1-5/8" long x 3/4" tall pin appears to have been privately commissioned, as it is 9K gold and it is a copy of the 1904 Type 2 Rising Sun medal, and was most likely produced as a wife/sweetheart pin. It has the early crown and rays, it is fully hand engraved including the legend AUSTRALIAN COMMONWEALTH MILITARY FORCES, and it is stamped 9CT on the back of the pin and on the clasp/clos...

Nice bar accessory for the cocktail buff, this bone handled sterling silver measuring jigger was made by the New York firm John Hasselbring, early 20th century, makers mark, Sterling and Style No. 40 stamped on jigger, and silver base stamped Sterling. Measurements: 5 1/2"L x 2" H; Jigger measures 1 3/4" H. Handle width-1"; Condition is very good vintage with minor pin dots inside jigger. Repair to knob that attaches handle to back of jigger.

A Royal Crown Derby 2451 Old Imari pattern English bone china tea cup and saucer circa 1923. The teacup is 3-3/8" tall and the matching saucer is 5-5/8" across.
