Fine strand of prewar WWII, glass Venetian trade beads from Africa, L: 58cm/23in. These are strung on a contemporary cotton green string with copper wire fastener. A 4 1/4 inch tall colorless hexagonal tumbler with applied jewels and enameling. The base of the tumbler is polished flat and bears a “Glasfabrik Karlsbad” logo and “Moser Austria.” There is slight wear to the gold on the edges of the tumbler.

Two massive modernist clear glass solitaire vases from the 1950s, each with a large bubble. Designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, the Swedish glassworks. Both signed Kosta, LH for Lindstrand, 1496 and 1615 respectively (model numbers). Height "8 and 4 ¼ / 20 and 11 cm. Condition: fine, except for a few misty contours to the inside of both vases, near the top.

This Palissy Ware center or serving piece has 3 clam styled bowls for serving condiments or food. They have a Jun Yao style of coloring of mottled blue and green with dabs of purple in the interior; outer walls are painted with ochre streaks. The body is encrusted with shells and bocage evoking colorful visions of the sea.

Underside is marked Made in Portugal 201A...

A lovely signed "Hand Made in Greece Ikaros Pottery B420" with a small 4 at the bottom. In excellent condition though the rim has a slight imperfection original to the piece that is not noticeable except to the touch. The piece measures 8" (h) x 7" (w). The Ikaros factory was located in Rhodes,Greece and ceased production in 1988.

A large sterling silver bowl from Atelier Borgila, Erik Fleming in Stockholm, Sweden. This was a 1941 Presentation Gift from General Motors Imports, inscription on bottom as shown. Measures about 5 1/2" tall, 7 1/2" across and weighs about 737 grams. Has decorative engraving on one side and a gold wash in the interior. Very good condition, does show a little wear and light scratches. In its original presentation box. Fine example of Scandinavian design from this workshop.
