The Manhattan pattern was produced by Hocking Glass Company from 1939 to 1941. Its clean, deco lines makes it very popular with today's collectors. Although this isn't listed with Manhattan in the catalogs, Hocking produced this cookie jar as a 'go with' item for the pattern. It was made during the same time period and sold along with Manhattan. This is a really nice crystal clear Colonial, aka Knife and Fork, 7 inch Ice Lip Pitcher made by Hocking Glass from 1934 to 1938. This Pitcher is listed in the book as a 54 ounce Water Pitcher. It actually holds 58 ounces almost running over, so the 54 ounces is more realistic. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. This is a really nice French Ivory Laurel 8 3/4 inch round deep serving or vegetable bowl made by McKee Glass in the 1930s. This bowl is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. There are the usual mold marks in the bottom of the glass which is common with this type of vintage glass. The surface of the bowl is shiny.
